Sitting down, Amalia felt both excited and nervous.

A month had gone by and some major things had happened within those 30 days.

Amalia hadn't seen Tara or Ima at all, but Donna, Wendy, and even Ang still hung around Tara.

Even though Ang wasn't the biggest fan of Tara Knowles, she decided to give her another chance to avoid drama and tell the truth of what she would say to her niece because other people could misconstrue stories.

As for the others, Amalia couldn't say anything bad about them. It was her fault after all.

Amalia couldn't be bothered to think much about her issues with the dreadful woman because, three major players in the mob scene had been released from prison a week after her fight with Tara and Ima.

Her father, Renee's father and husband Chris.

Unfortunately, Amalia wasn't able to go home to Staten Island to visit her father and he wasn't able to visit Charming because all three of the men had to go to a halfway house for at least 20 days.

But that was all about to change.

Amalia was ecstatic to receive a phone call from her father a week prior to tell her he had been released from the halfway house and that him and her mother were coming to visit for a while.

As soon as Amalia told Jax the news, he made reservations at a nice Italian restaurant and placed Chibs in charge of club business for the first three days her parents were in town for.

It was the day of their arrival, and Amalia couldn't keep herself from tapping her fingers against the restaurant table impatiently as she looked at her husband.

Jax gave her a reassuring smile as he placed his hand over hers to relax her.

"Calm down, Amalia. They'll be here soon." He told her gently.

Amalia sighed. "I just hope he's alright." She confessed.

Even though her father was only away for a year and a half thanks to good lawyers, she knew from the stories she had heard from him and Jax that prison was no walk in the park.

Her nervous thoughts were cut short when she noticed a sleek black car pull up in front of the restaurant.

"They're here." Amalia informed Jax because his back had been facing the window.

Although there weren't many, Amalia couldn't help but be surprised at the differences between the motorcycle club and the mob.

When Jax and her went on their first date, she was anxious the entire time because- just like now- Jax had his back to the front window. In her lifestyle, that would never have happened in case her father was in danger of getting whacked. He always had to be facing windows in public places.
