Amalia walked to the door, opening it with a smile.

"Hey, babe!" She greeted her friend, Renee happily as she pulled her in for a hug.

"Hey!" Renee replied, kissing her cheek.

Renee was a childhood friend of Amalia's.

Even though Renee continued to live in Staten Island, she would frequently visit Amalia and Jax in Charming.

The only downfall was, Amalia had introduced Renee and Tara back in high school and they became close and there was really nothing Amalia could do about it.

"Are you aware that there's a scary Mexican man going past your house? I saw him drive by like four times now." Renee asked her.

Amalia chuckled as they sat on the couch.

"That's just Alvarez. Jax had to do a job and needed the whole club with him so he asked him to watch over the house while he's away." She explained.

"I thought you guys decided to keep the old house to avoid problems?" Renee questioned.

That was true. Jax and Amalia had decided that they would keep the old house for Ang to live in.

The purpose of the whole thing was to make potential enemies think they had still lived there. If there was anyone ever watching the house, they would be in for a surprise when Big Ang walked out.

"We did, but since Tara's husband- ex husband- whatever the fuck he is, is a fed, Jax just wanted to take precautions in case he's been following us." Amalia answered.

Renee nodded, pushing herself off the couch and following Amalia into the kitchen for some wine.

"I should invite Alvarez in for a coffee or something. He's been out there since six this morning. Maybe give him some gas money for all the laps he's done." Amalia chuckled.

Picking up her phone, she quickly called him to invite him in for a break.

A few minutes later, he walked through the door and into the kitchen, Amalia handing him a cup of coffee.

"You shouldn't be doing this, Amalia. It's not normal for people from different clubs to enter the homes of President's old ladies." Alvarez told her wearily, taking a sip of the hot beverage.

"Well isn't it nice that I'm not a regular old lady?" Amalia smirked before continuing.

"I take care of those who take care of me and my own. You've done a lot for Jax, Alvarez. I just hope we've done enough to return the favour, and if we haven't, I can always kick his ass for you." She finished with a playful wink making Alvarez chuckle.

Amalia introduced him and Renee before she poured herself another glass of wine.

"So what's going on with you and Tara? I've heard so much shit, my head is spinning." Renee questioned.
