Hey guys! I had a really strange idea for a story. Please let me know if you like it. I don't really know where I'm gonna go with it, so I would like to hear your ideas. This is all 3rd person omniscient for the most part.

Update: sorry made a few changes and corrections and more to come. I have changed the story around a little to make it better. Thanks for the feedback in messages.

There he was. Hurting and in pain. There was nothing she could do as the person she loved the most in the world died in front of her eyes. It had been minutes, no hours, since his death but she couldn't let him go. Her grip on his frail, pale body wouldn't loosen. The people around her wanted to respect her but at the same time they needed to separate her from this cold, dead body.

"Olivia." A nurse called out to her. "Please, you need to let him go." Olivia just ignores her. She wouldn't let her son go. He was the only person she had ever truly loved.

"You have to let him go."

Olivia wakes up quickly with sweat dripping down her face and neck. Her nightmares had only been getting worse and no matter how much she talked about it or expressed her feelings, nothing would help her get better. She constantly thought about what she could've done, should've done, to help him.

"Olivia." A voice says softly to her right. Olivia sits up to see Amanda staring at her. Her bright blue eyes piercing in the dim light of the morning. She could see the tears in the younger woman's eyes.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Olivia whispers quietly. Amanda looks down at her stomach.

"It hurts a lot and it's been getting worse since last night. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I just...didn't want you to take me to the hospital and it would be nothing again. I wanted to be sure." Amanda reluctantly admits. Amanda wasn't one to share her true emotions or feelings easily.

"Amanda. You don't need to hide your pain from me. I'll take you to the hospital a hundred times if you need. I'd rather have that than you get hurt. Turn the other way." Amanda allows Olivia to move herself behind her to give her the comfort that she craves. Olivia rubs the very swollen, baby bump to try and calm her. It was a very intimate thing but Amanda didn't really seem to mind.

"I don't think I can do this." Amanda painfully admits in a whisper. The tears she was holding back finally spring forth. Olivia feels an ache in her heart. She cares so much for Amanda and hates to see her in pain; emotional or physical.

Amanda cried as he held her down and did what he wanted. She knew better than to fight back. He had control over her and she wasn't going to go against his authority. He insisted on trying to 'put a baby in her.' He was so rough with her that sometime ago she had started bleeding, but he didn't really seem to care and he just kept pounding her mercilessly. The bruises that littered her body were so painful and every time he would move, he would agitate them. There was nothing she could ever do to stop him. This was her life now. Doing what he wanted.

"I'm here. You won't have to do this alone. And no matter what you decide to do, I will always support you." There is a moment of silence and then she feels Amanda's body become less tense in her arms. "Do you think we should go now or wait a little while longer?" Olivia asks.

"I don't know...The contractions aren't close at all and I know that they would just send us home because my water hasn't broken. They said that I had to wait until I am 3-1-1." Amanda was about to explain when a contraction hit her.
