~My POV~
I had just gotten into college and decided it’d be nice to get a part time job somewhere. Life was pretty good at the time and I was confident I could take on the work of the day and earn a bit of pocket cash by getting a night shift. With my classes spaced out like they were it sounded good. “Math and English on Mondays and Science and History on thursdays. With that kind of schedule I could totally do a night shift!” I sorted to myself out loud. I was looking through the morning paper in the job section when one ad caught my eye. “How cute!” I exclaimed when I looked at the job description with a picture of four adorable looking animatronics. There was a pirate fox (I absolutely LOVE foxes), a bear with a mic and top hat, a chicken with a cupcake, and a bunny with a guitar. “Absolutely adorable!” I squealed. I loved them already and was excited to see what kind of pay I would be getting as I looked down at the information on the ad. The job title read, ‘HELP WANTED! Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza! Family Pizzaria looking for security guard to work the nightshift. 12am-6am. Monitor cameras, ensure safety of equipment and animatronic characters. Not responsible for injury/dismemberment. $120 a week. To apply call, 1-888-FAZ-FAZBEAR.’ Paying no attention to the 'Not responsible for injury/dismemberment’ part of the matter and only focusing on the ‘$120 a week’ I decided to apply for the job. Upon answering the phone the pizzaria manager seemed overly excited at my interest in the job; however, he was a little worried about the fact that I was a female. This worried me just a bit, but I assured him I was right for the job. “I took Tie-Kwon-Doe and Karate as a kid, I also know how to work well with weapons. I should be safe sir!” I told him. “Well, ok. You got the job!”
“Alright!” I call out with excitement.
“And your name was?” he asked.
“My name is Lisa Reignheart, sir.”
“Awesome, Ms. Reignheart. You can just call me ‘Manager’ or maybe just ‘Sir.’ Anyways, show up tomorrow evening so I can get you set up with the right stuff and get you going that night.” He replied.
“Great!” I answer with glee.

That next afternoon I was on my way to the pizzaria with a skip in my step, without knowing it, this place was just down the road from my neat little apartment! I was very excited about just that in itself, because I could go to work without wasting the extra gas money. As I walked through the restaurant doors the manager was there to greet me with a big smile. “Welcome!” he said. “I’m so glad you’re here, Ms. Reignheart!”
“Why thank you, sir! I’m excited to get started!” I told him with a smile. Something about his reply tipped my mood negatively a bit though.
“Well, I’m.. I’m not sure about that, but hey, at least you’re happy!”
“Um.. ok.” I reply a little bit nervous now.
“OK, let me show you to your station!” He pointed to the back. He lead me to a fairly small, cozy room with a fan, a phone, an iPad to access the cameras from, and buttons on each side to turn on the hall lights at night and to close two huge iron doors on either side. I questioned the doors a little bit as the manager explained what to do. “Well, that’s just about it! You’ll get a call later kind of going a little more in depth about your job.” He smiled.
“Ok, sounds good.”
“Then I’ll leave the place to you! Remember to lock the front and back door after the day shifters leave.”
“Will do!” I replied watching him as he left.
