Txunamy's POV
I wake up to the sound of my alarm blaring. I slam it with frustration. It is 6:30 am on a Monday morning. I stand up from bed and run to the bathroom to take a shower.
My mind drifts back to the events of Saturday night. I remember how after crying my eyes out I came out of the bathroom and discovered that Fred had left. I had practically slept the entire day yesterday, and so here I am today.
I gape at the reflection of my ruffled hair and swollen eyes. After my quick shower I curl my hair and put on a short sleeved hoodie. I pair it with my slim fit jeans and sneakers.
I lightly dab on a little makeup to bring some colour to my face. There are still fifteen minutes before the warning bell will ring which gives me ample time to make a stop at my locker.
“Good morning, sunshine.” I hear from behind me as I walk towards Jazzy. It was Courtney. We had not seen each other since Friday when I dropped her home.
“Bonjour mon amour.” I reply while smiling at her, but she just keeps gawking at me.
“Makeup isn't covering anything.” She says with one hand on her hip. She immediately lunges towards, pulling me into a hug. “You better fill me in when we get to school, alright.”
“Yes, mummy.” I say with a laugh as we both hop into the car.

“And that's why I slept for the whole day yesterday.” I finish telling Courtney as we eat lunch.
“Damn, that’s a lot to process, girl.” Courtney replies.
“Eh, new day, new me. Blah, blah, blah.” I shrug it off, “Let’s go to the bathroom, Coco.”
“Alright, pumpkin.” She says as we get up from our table and walk towards the hallway that leads to the bathroom.
Courtney is extremely protective of me. She’s loving, caring and most of all she flatters me with compliments all the time. She makes it easier for me to keep moving forward each day. She even knows that Fred is a cheater.
“OMG!” Courtney shrieks as we step into the hallway.
That is when I see him.
He’s standing right there, in the middle of the hallway, making out with some random girl.
Oh God, I really can't take this.
