We walked home, I brought some plastic bags with some street foods inside. Heeyeong loves street food, mom does too. So I thought, why don't I just bought them some

"hey, I have been dreaming about weird things lately.. It felt like my dream was telling me something" I opened my mouth trying to break this awkward silence. "What is it?" he asked. I can see his curiosity by his eyes,

"I don't know.. there's a man's voice keeps on calling my name as if I'm in trouble" I told him the last dream I had, his eyes widened. "what is it?" I asked to his reaction "ah, what? nah, maybe it's just a regular nightmare"

"you need some good sleep, sleep properly, don't skip your meals" I chuckled, "yak, are you my mom or something?" he giggled and puts his arm around me, now this feels comfortable.

"have you ever thought of dating a vampire?" he asked in a low voice. "Eoh? I've never thought that vampire would really exist!" 

"but why do you ask me tho?" I painted a serious look on my face. 

"I don't know, maybe I will try date a smart human?" He turned his face to me and spill a cheeky smile all over his face. "hmm, dating a vampire would be fun" I talked to myself, accidentally mentioning my thoughts

"really? date me then" 

"you're kidding Na Jaehwa-" 

"I'm serious" he gave me a serious look, and stopped walking. I can feel his hands travelling to my arms while staring at me intensely. "I-i don't know how to feel about this"

I scooted back while looking away, keeping the distance between us. "Give me an answer yeah? Mrs Smart" he smirked. What's with the lOOK?! IS HE TRYING TO DRIVE ME CRAZY?!

"so? how is that? should we date?"

"probably?" I gulped, he smiled and patted my head

"that's a yes for me" he held my hand, interlocked our fingers to each other. "Now we're gonna beat Taeyeon and Yuta for being the couple of our school!" he shouted, "finally!!" 

"oh oh wait, are you doing this only because Yuta teased you for being single your whole life?"  I gave him a confusion look, he shook his head no. "no, Hwayeong-ah, I'm not a f boi" he gave me a straight face

"I really like you, you're the first person who made me trust human again after the traumatic life" I smiled at his words, how is this so cringy but also making me blush at the same time.  

"give me your arm" he stopped walking and faced me, I ifted my left arm. He took it and pulled out a temporary tattoo lmao "what is that?" 

"it's a temporary tattoo, you know, every vampire with human as their couple should make them use this temporary mark. Ridiculous, I know, but it's cute, right?" he chuckled while putting it on my arm. 

It's a 2 lines tattoo, red and black, "what does this mean?" I asked, he smiled at my curiosity and explained. He pointed at the red line, "this is you, a red line means a creature with drinkable and fresh blood flowing inside her/his body" and then he pointed at the black one, "and this is me"

"black is the darkest colour, right? this means, if we get this relationship wrong, the black will dominate the red line, as a representative if I lost control and made the relationship toxic. And if I harm you when we are still in a relationship and if that wasn't something you asked for, the red line will fade, because at the end I will dominate"

"once a vampire drink his human couple's blood, usually other vampires can't hold but lose control every time seeing her" I blinked my eyes tons of times "that's why don't let this relationship go wrong, okay? just don't let me lose control over you" he smiled 

I nod a bit, "I believe that you're different from the others, if you're able to hold yourself from drinking my blood until now, then you will be able to do it later on too" I took his hand, "we can do this, you can do this" I smiled

We arrived at my house, we stepped in 

"mom, I'm home". My mom showed up from her room and smiled, "hi sweetie! ohoo, is that street food from Myeong-dong? yayyy! Heeyeong ah!! Eonnie brought us some street foods!" 

Heeyeong came out of her room with he PJs, she sent a cheeky smile when he saw Jaehwa's hand around me,  I changed my shoes to slippers and brought the bags to the dining room, Jaehwa's hand still around me.

"mhm, you're not single" Heeyeong mumbled while stuffing her face with sweet potatoes, I chuckled a bit and her eyes widened. "YOU ARE DATING HIM?!" I looked up to her, and nodded. Jaehwa chuckled seeing her. 

"hey hey, calm down, your sister has chose the right man" My mom tried to calm Heeyeong down while giggling, "Jaehwa has good looks, and he has right manners and good attitudes too, I have no concerns about you dating him, I'm sure dad also wouldn't mind" She showed her sweetest smile

Jaehwa checked his watch, "I should go home" he said in a low voice. "hm? eoh, okay" I nodded. He said goodbye to mom and Heeyeong and walked to the front door. "okay, stay safe, okay?" he said before stepping out. I nodded, "you too, remember that you can come over anytime!" he smiled and nodded his head 

we said our goodbyes and with that, he stepped out of the house

Na Jaehwa POV

I walked towards my house and that's when I saw Yeonwoo, you better remember this guy, the class president. I tried to ignore and managed to pass him, until

"Na Jaehwa" 

I heard his low voice, I faced him "eoh, the class president, what is it? haelmari isseo*?" his eyes are light red, his mark was shining, this guy is losing his mind, he's thirsty. I approached him and he pinned me to the wall

"stop, Choi Yeonwoo, I've known that you are a vampire ever since the first time I saw you. You can't lost control now" He stared at he intensely and bit my neck, sucking my blood, this is horrible. 

My blood was dripping, I closed my eyes, trying to endure the pain, hoping that no one would see us. I let him for a minute, then I pushed him away, trying to snap his into reality. His eyes turned back into light brown and he was heavy breathing, I  grasped my neck, trying to stop the blood and prevent it from dripping more. 

"I-I'm sorry.." he saw my dripping blood and stuttered. "It's okay" I closed my eyes and tried to catch my breath. "when will you tell her, Jaehwa-ya?" my eyes widened, "h-how?" 

"all vampires know, Na Jaehwa, and when will you tell her, when will you tell you dad about this?" I shook my head, "I don't know, I'm not ready to accept the reality.." 

"I'm gonna be here for you to talk about this" His lips formed a thin smile and go. 

I arrived at home and stepped inside the house, "mom.." I called her with a low voice, at this point I could be dead, my blood keeps on dripping. My brother stepped out of his room and that's when he saw me, I can feel myself falling into the ground, 

"Na Jaehwa!!!" I heard him yeling. Then, everything went black.
