Han River

I sat on the grass surface, closing my eyes, enjoying the spring breeze, I've always like spring, it's the most balanced season of all. I saw Jaehwa sitting beside me, "yak, let's take a photo together!" it popped in my mind, now that I think of it, why haven't we took a photo before?. I pulled out my selfie stick, preparing my phone. 

he took it, lifted it while asking me to look towards my phone. "aah, waitt, I look pale af." I said, annoyed. I was still applying the lip tint when I hear a clicking sound. "yaakk! I wasn't ready" I said pouting. He giggled.

"okay now I'm ready" I said as I leaned at him, placing a peace sign beside my eyes, smiling widely. "hana, dul, set"

we took several photos and selfies, he even asked someone to take a photo of us.

"don't forget your promise!" I said, reminding him. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Okay then, just order it from your phone and I will pay for it" he smiled. "yes!" I opened the application and ordered our chicken.

10 mins later

"yeoboseo?" I took the phone call, "ohh, the chicken! mhm, yeah, I will take it now, I mean- My friend will take it" I said smirking at Jaehwa, I hung up. "come onnnn!! I'm craving chickens!!!"

he gave me an annoyed face and left for the chickens. I waited for him while taking a look of our photos. I waited for 5 minutes-ish until I saw Jaehwa coming back with a plastic of chickens in his hands. "YEAAYYYY!" I nearly screamed...more like I screamed.

He sat next to me and gave me the chicken, I crossed my legs, placing my outer on my lap. I checked the temperature, shoot it's not as hot or warm as I thought, 9 degrees celcius....are you kidding me? It was 18 degrees celcius this morning, ugh. I tried to ignore my shivering leg and unboxed the chicken

I started to eat. Jaehwa's hand was on my calf when I felt his cold hands, "YAK!" I said yelling at him as I shrug off his hand of my calf. "your skirt is too short" He took his outer off and placed it on my lap, after my outer. 

"what about you?" I asked, worried. "me? I'm originally cold, don't even worry about my body temperature."

"thank you" I smiled at him. "It's alright" he patted my head softly, combing my hair smoothly with his fingers. He start to eat and we talked about my school life before and also after I met him, time passed.

and that's when my mom called. 

me: "yes mom, why?"

mom: "are you still with Jaehwa?"

me: "yeah.. I'm at han river and I think I'll be home late today, don't wait for me"

mom: "mhm, okay. I was just checking, be careful, take care"

she hung up on me. 

"you know what? sometimes I really envy your family. Your warm family. My family is so cold, we don't eat together, we don't have rules. Mom and dad always fight, but mom is so warm, she is the only one who cares about me.." he lowered his head

"hey" I held his hand softly, "You can come over to my house anytime, I willalways be by your side"

Jaehwa's POV

her soothing voice calmed me down. her lips formed a smile, that smile, that is the smile I always see in my dream.
