"just wait here, I am going to take a shower and come back in a second, kay?" I smiled at him as I left him in my room.

Na Jaehwa's POV

she left and all I saw was warmness in this room, I can feel the walls 'talking' as if they're telling me all the things and emotions they have seen in Hwayeong. I feel her, crying, laughing, and also screaming because of the stories Taeyeon told her, my lips formed a thin smile. 

My eyes landed on a book, more like a scrapbook, I took and opened it. The first page is filled by her family photo, I saw her father's figure, he seems like a warm person who really takes care and is responsible of his family, 

"I went to the park with dad, mom, and Heeyeong! Today was a really good day, it was full of excitement!" her handwriting is written there. At that moment, I know I chose the right choice. I opened the next page, it was a photo of her and Taeyeon when they were still in elementary, she looks so cute! I wonder how she behave to her friends and family when she was younger

"taking a glance at my scrapbook, mr popular?" 

I panicked a bit when I saw her in the room with shorts and white t-shirt, wet hair. Not gonna lie, she looks goddamn fine. as hell. smh

But then I sent her a cheeky smile and she just sighed and smiled a bit, sitting beside me, "this was a week after I met Taeyeon for the first time. That was on first grade, my hair was always braided and Taeyeon's is always short, you see that pink stain on Taeyeon's uniform? That was because of me, I spilled my strawberry milk on her"

She smiled a bit, remembering her past, well her past is so interesting but I need to give her the explanation of all these, I mean- the castle thing. I closed the book and scratched the back of my neck, I feel so sorry for making her so worried. 

"I- I have to explain" she looked at me in the eyes, I looked away, trying to hide my guiltiness towards her, until I felt her warm hands on mine, "I won't be mad, don't be guilty" she smiled 

"it-it's a kinda long explanation, you gotta be patient" I smiled ike an idiot, she pinched my cheek softly.

I explained everything to her, about the reason and why I should go to the castle. "but why did they actually have to do that to you? you know, the operation.." I sighed heavily, "I actually don't wanna talk about this but it's okay.. so the thing is.."

"..all the royal family members has this one organ in their body, that organ is to protect your body from getting poisoned when they got bitten, because we never know if the ones who bit us has a dangerous poison or not in their saliva.."

"..ordinary vampires does not have this organ and that's the main reason why the royal family members don't immediately turn into other creature when a poison gets into their body, because of the organ"

"when the poison reach the organ, they will turn into other creature, the effect will only seen when it reached the organ, depends on the poison. this organ is really important for us, the royal family, this organ is the one which protects us from turning into other creature or maybe die from the poison we got"

"it's not fair" 

Hwayeong's soft voice cut my explanation, "you guys get that organ when there are so many victims, and dying ordinary vampire out there because of wild biting" I stared at her in disbelief, not gonna lie  I did not expect her reaction would be like this

"we rule the vampire world, my dad rules the vampire world, they don't mind, it is like having money to go to the hospital and not having one to cure yourself, it is like the same kind of thing, Hwayeong-ah.. I am so sorry if that made you uncomfortable" I stroked her hair softly, her small lips formed a thin smile.

"I can say that I understand with your long explanation, now, is your neck okay?" She took a look at my neck, "It stings sometimes tho the scar is not even there anymore, but it will be fine by tomorrow.."

"Hwayeong-ah, let's have our lunch, I made homemade ramen, Jaehwa-ya, come joi us for lunch!" Her mom stepped into the room, she nodded. 

I sat next to her at the dining table. "Mom we're planning to go to Jeju Island for summer break after having a holiday with dad. Taeyeon and Yuta is also going with us. Is that okay?" 

Author POV

the long haired speak up, her mom seemed chill and nodded her head, "as long as you come to the family trip, you're allowed to go anywhere" 

the boy smiled cheekily as he slurp the ramen to his mouth. "why are you smiling like that?" the short haired girl opened up, the boy looked at her confused, "pardon?" he looks at the younger sis in nothing but confusion in his eyes

"leave him alone, Kim Heeyeong" The older chuckled, "stop protecting your boyfriend eonnie" Heeyeong  gave her older sister a straight face.

"just don't do anything weird, eonnie" the youngest stood up to wash her bowl, her words made the older blush, "yakk" Hwayeong's voice echoed in her ears, little do they know, the male is staring softly to the warm family, he is so envious about Hwayeong's family, It's a really warm and supportive house

30 mins later~

Jaehwa was waiting for Hwayeong to change her outfit, they're going to the convenience store to get some stuffs Hwayeong's mom asked for and of course some coffee for the lazy cozy afternoon vibe.
