Petra

Petra smiled to Damien as he brought over another drink for her. "You want a lift home tonight P?" He asked her setting the wine down in front of her.

"No I'm good thanks Damien, I'm probably gonna finish this and go." She replied tucking her foot underneath her and getting a little more comfortable.

"Okay hun just let me know if you change your mind." He smiled before returning back behind the bar.

Petra leaned back in the comfy sofa and continued to watch the big screen that was playing some sort of quiz though there was no sound due to the music being played in the back ground.

"Damien can you put the subtitles on for me please?" She yelled at her friend who nodded in response and minutes later the subtitles appeared on the screen. She began absent-mindedly answering the questions, cheering herself when she got them right and reprimanding herself when she didn't.

Truth was she had wanted to stay at home tucked up in bed with her bottle of wine whilst watching mind numbing television and pretending that her life was far more perfect than it was. But Damien had called her, dragged her out of the house saying he needed company at the bar, which he did not but she hadn't argued and had followed him.

"Hi again." Petra gave a start, she hadn't heard the giant man join her.

"Hello." She smiled at him, god he was gorgeous. His hair was white, almost platinum and his eyes were the greenest she had ever seen. He was tall and built with it, he had full lips and sharp features and that voice, fuck he could make her wet just by talking about the weather.

She felt the sofa dip as he suddenly sat next to her, the sofa wasn't particularly large so when he sat down their shoulders were touching. She had to stop herself from inhaling sharply at the sparks that flew down her arm from that small touch. "How much have you had to drink, the pretty people are over there remember." She mentally patted herself on the back for being able to sound normal.

"You're British." He said in response.

"Perceptive." She laughed sipping her drink and focusing on the telly rather than the handsome beast of a man sat next to her.

"I'm Sebastian." He sounded frustrated which made her grin inwardly.

"Petronella, apparently my parents have a sense of humour, but most just call me Petra." She answered still not looking at him and continuing to mouth the answers to the quiz show.

"Are you alone?" He asked, the irritation clear in his tone, though what he was irritated about she had no idea.

"Not since you joined handsome." She could slap herself sometimes, she didn't mean to be sarcastic she just couldn't help it when she was nervous.

"Petra." The way he said her name warmed her in parts she hadn't known needed warming, but there was something about the way he said her name which had her turning to face him her eyebrow cocked.

"Did you just growl at me Sebastian?" She found herself giggling at him.

"I'm trying to have a conversation with you and you're refusing to look at me. It's more than a little irritating and disrespectful." He stated through clenched teeth which again made her smile.

"Unlike of course when you were eyeing me up and looking at me like was the most disgusting being you had ever had the displeasure of meeting." She challenged him capturing his emerald green eyes with her own.

"That was not my intention."

"As it was not mine to be irritating or disrespectful." She shrugged turning her gaze back to the television. If she kept staring at the man she would be a puddle on the floor. She was thankful it was dark in the bar otherwise he would see the slash of red she knew brandished her cheeks, the lustful thoughts in her mind were both exciting and not what she needed right now.

The man took a deep breath, the action leading to his body pushing further against her, she had to bite back a gown. What was wrong with her? She had seen handsome men before, her own boyfriend was very handsome but she never wanted to moan because their arm touched hers.

"Why are you here alone?" He manage to ask without sounding as frustrated.

"I'm not, I came to keep Damien company." She said nodding toward Damien who was pouring god knows what kind of concoction for the young redhead who was shamelessly flirting with him.

"From all the way over here?" She heard the smile in his tone and turned to face him again her knee knocking his thigh.

"I didn't want to come out, Damien thinks if Tony is away then I can't be left alone so he dragged me out." She told him without thought her eyes bulking at how she had just admitted to a very handsome stranger that she had to rely on a bar man to force her to come out because her boyfriend was away.

"Tony is the boyfriend then?" He asked.

"Yup." She let the 'p' pop and rolled her eyes at herself, what is wrong with her? Her problems were her business and she was making it fairly obvious to the stranger she had her own problems.

"Does he go away a lot then?" Sebastian prodded.

"Why?" She countered.

"Why didn't he take you with him?" He asked her.

"I don't like camping, I like a bed not a tent." She shrugged sipping at her wine. "Plus he is with his friends and I can be both annoying and embarrassing." She answered.

"Annoying I might agree with." Sebastian said it more to himself but she heard it none-the-less.

"You don't have to sit with me handsome, you did that all by yourself." She scoffed at him making a move to stand, she needed another drink.

"Wait, I didn't mean to..." he trailed off, that frustrated look marring his handsome features again.

"Say that out loud?" She goaded making her way to the bar Sebastian in tow.

"No, I just meant, I can't see you being embarrassing, you're sarcastic so I can see how you might be annoying but not enough to warrant going away without you."

"Here, here!" Damien chimed in much to Petra's dislike. "I tell her that all the time and she isn't annoying or boring or embarrassing or-"

"Damien we get it you're my friend." She ground out as she felt the strangers eyes on her. She knew Sebastian was judging her but she really didn't have time to worry about what strangers thought about her, she had enough issues with trying to keep her boyfriend interested.

"He is a nice guy, I like him, he's just not for you hun." Damien smiled at her sympathetically.

"Hey I've done well to get someone like him." She countered.

"He's done well to land you!" Damien argued.

"You're my friend you're supposed to say that."

"I agree with Damien." Sebastian piped up.

"You don't know me or Tony so you can't chime in." She found herself growling. "Can I have another drink please Damien." She asked through gritted teeth.

"I'll get these." Sebastian offered.

"You don't have to it's fine-"

"I want to, go and sit down." Sebastian told her turning to face Damien who was beaming. She wanted to argue with him but for some reason she found herself huffing and doing what he asked. She would finish this drink and go home and then she would never have to look at the handsome stranger again, there were enough arseholes in her life she did not need another one.
