Chapter Ten

{Suga POV}
I watch the clock as the last minutes of my class go by. The bell rings and everyone gets up from their seats and heads to lunch. I gather my things and start walking back to Daichis place.

As I'm walking, I can't help but think about what he said.

'They kicked me out because I'm gay.'

Does that mean he could possibly return my feelings?

I shake those thoughts out of my head and continue walking when I run into Oikawa.

"Hey Suga." He waves and smiles. I return the smile and continue walking.

I finally get back to Daichis, hoping that he hasn't tried anything stupid.

"I'm back!" I yell as I walk in the door. No answer. I start to panic and have my phone incase I need to call an ambulance.

"Daichi?" I call out his name and head to his room. I see him laying down on his bed. I'm not sure weither I should feel relieved or not, so just to be safe, I check his pulse. A sigh of relief escapes my lips when I feel that he's breathing.

I head to the kitchen and start making some rice for whenever Daichi wakes up. I finish making it and put some in a little container with a note on it. I finish eating my food and hwad back to school.

In my way back, I can't help but feel a little disappointed that I wasn't actually able to see Daichi. At the same time, I don't think I would be able to wake him up. He looked so peaceful while sleeping.

I get lost in thought amd before I knew it, I was at school.

{Daichi POV}
I get up from my nap and look at the clock.

1:36

Damn it. Sugas lunch was almost an hour ago. Disappointed, I get up from my bed and head to the kitchen to get some food since I slept through lunch.
I open the fridge to find a container of rice with a small note.

Hey Daichi!
Sorry I couldn't see you at lunch. I noticed you were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you up since I know you had trouble last night. Anyways, I made some food for whenever you wake up. I should be back around 2. See you soon:)

I smile at the note and put the rice in the microwave. I eat my food and watch as the clock approaches 2:00.

~Time skip~

I'm sitting in the living room, watching TV, when I hear the door open. I hadn't really been paying attention to the clock all that much since I started watching TV, which was the point.

I check the time and realize It's 2:20.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late!" I hear Suga yell from the entry way. I get up and walk towards the front door.

"It's ok." I give him a smile. "How was school?" Suga gets up from taking off his shoes.

"Meh." He shrugs his shoulders. "Pretty normal."

I get this odd feeling. I suddenly feel like he's trying to hide something. It's probably nothing, so I shrug it off as my anxiety trying to get to me.

"Hey, you wanna do something tomorrow?" Suga asks. I'm not 100% sure what he has in mind, but I trust him, so I agree.

It's about 10 pm before Suga and I decide to go to bed. Suga finally gave in and moved his things to the spare room right next to mine. I knew that wasn't good enough for me.

"H-Hey, Suga?" I say hesitantly. "Would you mind sleeping with me again?" (ik what ur thinkin. Nasty.) A light blush appears on my face. Suga gives me a smile.

"No, not at all." I feel a wave of relief wash over my body. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I realize my face is still a little pink from blushing, so I splash some cold water on my face to try to make it disappear.

I head back to my room and see Suga already getting settled in. I get into the bed and turn off the lamp on my bedside table.

"Night Suga." I turn to face him to see his face on last time before he falls asleep.

"Night Daichi." Suga smiles then turns around to face the window in my room. I turn back around, resisting the urge to hold him, and before long, I'm asleep.

{Suga POV}
I woke up to the sound of rain. It was still dark outside so I checked my phone.

3:18 am

I look over at Daichi who's sound asleep. I'm honestly glad he asked me to sleep with him because he made me feel safe.

I smile at my thoughts and try to fall asleep to the sound of the rain. It was relaxing and I was about to fall asleep when I saw a flash come from the window, followed by a loud boom.

I let out a small whince of fear and turn towards Daichi whos back is still turned towards me. I think about waking him up, but decide not to.

Boom!

Another flash filled the room. I curl into a ball and cover my ears, trying ti ignor the sounds, but I can't.

Boom!

Subconsciously, I grab on to the back of Daichis shirt and curl up next to him. This, mixed with the storm, wakes him up.

"Suga, are you ok?" I let go of his shirt and he turns around to face me after turning on his lamp. I nod my head.
"You're crying." I feel my face.

At some point leading up to this moment, I had started crying. I wipe my face.

"I'm fi-" My sentence got cut short by another loud boom. I feel myself grab Daichis shirt again and bury my face in his chest. I feel his hand wrap around me and pull me closer.

"It's ok. The storm will be over soon." He whispers softly. He rubs circles on my back to try and relax me a bit. It obviously worked because, within minutes, I was fast asleep.
