LU's POV

I was tired as hell when my alarm went off, I had stayed up all night (were gonna wanna stay up all night) with Ricky trying to make him learn the choreography, I gotta say the outcome wasn't the best, but he used to be way worse.

Right now I was in Ben's car, about to arrive at East High.

"Soo..." Ben said.

"Sooo?" I bounced back.

"Do you have a date for Homecoming yet?" he asked.

OH MY GOD, HOMECOMING!

I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THAT!

OKAY, ACT CHILL, BE COOL, If Ben finds out I forgot he'll make fun of me for months, I know it.

"Uh... I-i"

"You forgot, didn't you?"

So much for trying to act cool

"Am... no I did not" I tried to defend myself.

Ben laughed. "You so did"

"Well what if I did?" I said getting out of the car and slamming the door.

"Hey, careful with my baby" he said, climbing out of the car. "I just find it so funny that you used to obsess about it the we were younger and now you forgot about it" he laughed.

"Well thanks for your help Bennyboo" I said, calling him that on purpose.

"Do not call me that again, Lucia, I mean it, I'm a man now" he said pointing at me while we crossed the front door.

"Then stop making fun of me idiot" I replied back. "And it is not too late for me to find a date so" I shrugged.

"I would ask one of my friends to take you but they are all assholes, so no way"

"Aw, you worry about me" I said and stopped walking.

"Forget I said that" he said turning to me. "Hey why don't you ask Ricky to go with you?"

"Um... I mean sure, if he doesn't have a date I might ask him" I said, suddenly feeling excited about the idea. "Yeah I will ask him, thanks Ben" I said and then I started walking away.

"See you later" he shouted.

"Yeah sure, whatever" I said and I started walking to my locker.

I walked into homeroom and saw Ashlyn so I walked directly towards her. Lately we both had grown close; even if she was related to E.J. she was nothing like him, she was quite a sweet and very, very talented girl. She had one of the most amazing voices I had ever heard.

"Good morning" Ashlyn said to me, while I sat next to her.

"Good morniiing" I said utterly excited. "So, what are you doing today?" I questioned.

"Oh, well I have class, we have rehearsal-

"Yeah I know that girl, I meant in between classes, maybe after classes?" I clarified.
