A teary eyed 18 year old Anna, sobbed in her mothers arms.
"I'm eighteen.. ma I'm not ready.." She spoke as her mind raced, recalling...
"Kai come on mamas we gonna go see dada in the hospital. He's coming home today." I said calling to the back room.
"Ma we going to pick him up now, we'll be back in about a hour or less imma make an excuse that I have errands to run or something. Text if you need more time to set up." I told Damiens mom. We were planning a surprise welcome home get together at my place.
Damien had been awake for about 4 days now, the doctor said they needed to observe him for a few days before he'd have the OK to leave.
He finally got the OK.
I had been working non stop to make sure he'd be as comfortable as possible getting out of the hospital. As much as I didn't want to, I still had to make some sort of income. Kairi's mother never came back for her, shit was weird.
While waiting for Kairi I scrolled through instagram.
