Try Try Again

By T. H. Palmer

'Tis a lesson you should heed,
If at first you don't succeed,
Try, try again;

Then your courage should appear,
For if you will persevere,
You will conquer, never fear
Try, try again;

Once or twice, though you should fail,
If you would at last prevail,
Try, try again;

If we strive, 'tis no disgrace
Though we do not win the race;
What should you do in the case?
Try, try again

If you find your task is hard,
Time will bring you your reward,
Try, try again

All that other folks can do,
Why, with patience, should not you?
Only keep this rule in view:
Try, try again.

 I don't know about you guys, but I really like this one. I always knew the saying "Try, try again", but I hadn't seen this poem until a few days ago. I really like this because it's telling you, no matter how many obstacles are in your way and no matter how many times you fail, you will always find the right answer if you keep trying! Though, always keep trying without being insane (the definition of insanity means to continue doing the same thing (usually wrong) and expect different results).
And this poem means to tell you not to give up, that if you try enough, put effort into what your trying to accomplish, and you'll get where you need to be in the end.
I might not know much about the author, T. H. Palmer, but I know this poem is quite a piece of art.
