When you take care of a flower, you must give it sunshine, water, and good soil. But too much of any will kill it. It is very hard to know how much to give, or how much to with-hold.
Some people, though, will have an obviously dead flower, and still water it in vain hopes of it coming back to life.
Others will lose patience just as it is about to bloom, and throw away a perfectly colorful flower.
Yet still others will give it too much, or have something lacking that they could provide, and watch as their flower dies.
Very few, though, will see 'till their flower blooms. These very few have patience and love and nurturing--even though they too have had stuggles with keeping thier flower alive.
You need many elements to see a flower bloom, and bloom again. Though it may seem in vain, with the right care, the right soil to start from, the right amount of water and the right amount of sunshine, and the right amount if patience, the flower will be the best out of the lot.

Right, so I have no idea who said this or anything. I just found it and loved it. I don't know if you agree, but i think this is talking not about flowers, but every day relationships and goals.
I think the part about some people having a dead flower and not giving it up means; you have to move on. Some things, though with hopes and all that, just can't be rekindled. You can give it as much water and sun and dirt as you'd like, but it is dead and won't come back. Sometimes you have to move on and start over.
The second part i think is about not giving up. And yes, there's a big diference between 'giving up' and 'moving on'. This part means that you have to wait, even though it might be in vain, but you have to wait and see. Keep going, keep up the same hard stuff, and you might end up with a beautiful flower.
The third part 'Yet still others will give it too much, or have something lacking that they could provide, and watch as their flower dies.' I believe that no matter how much you try and how much you push, sometimes you just gotta step back and take it slow. Take it slow and don't give up.
I really like the fourth section. It talks about how very few people will see their flower to full bloom, when it will be the most amazing. It pretty much says that you will fail sometimes, but with the right care you can make it past 100%.
So there are many pionts to this; sometimes you have to move on, you can't give up on the hard--or the easy--things, take some things slow, and always keep pursuing whatever it is your chasing.
