Chapter 24. A decade... Last Chapter

Welcome to the final chapter. This book ends after this chapter. Surely I could make up more dramas for them. But I kind of like the way it is now. Zhan and Yibo are happy and should stay happy. In this last chapter "One decade" I briefly summarize the past ten years of the two of them. Before we let them live on in peace. Hahaha

Zhan and Yibo are celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary today. Ten years in which Zhan and Yibo have been married to each other and their feelings did not change during these years. They still cuddle around like a newly in love couple and never miss an opportunity to tell each other and show that they love each other.

After Zhan wrote the book about Yibo and himself and it was published, he wrote many more books. But most of them were written in collaboration with Yibo, who meanwhile also went among the authors and writes books himself.

Yibo writes his books, which are mostly action or comedy books, under the pseudonym Lan Zhan. Fans of the two have known for a long time that the two authors are a married couple.

When they wrote and published their first book together, many suspected that Lan Zhan is the man described in the book "To infinity". And that he is the lucky one who married the author Wei Wuxian.

But they became certain when the author Lan Zhan wrote a book for the author Wei Wuxian called "My Dearest Author". On the first page of the book Lan Zhan wrote "For Wei Wuxian. My life, my heart, my soul. I love you to infinity!"

Two years after the wedding, Zhan's mother moved into the apartment and still lives there, along with her husband, who she met while playing bingo. A year later, Zhan's mother married her boyfriend and the love for this man made her twenty years younger.

The friends of Yibo and Zhan are all married now. Chuyue is a father of two children and Bai Shu had three times the luck, his wife gave birth to triplets. Wu and Gu Jiacheng are also fathers of one child each.

The biggest surprise, however, came from Seungyoun (thanks to

funstoriestelling   for the great idea), because about half a year after the marriage of Zhan and Yibo he had news that astounded everyone.

He had something to announce and invited Zhan and Yibo to a restaurant. Meanwhile Yibo and him were really good friends again and Yibo trusted him again. Zhan was still a little skeptical, but at the latest that day he was convinced of the opposite.

The two came to the restaurant where Seungyoun was sitting with no one else than Shou Nian. Both held hands and beamed at each other. "Yibo, Zhan, I asked you here today because I wanted to tell you about Shou Nian and me. We have been a couple for a month and we hope you will give us your blessing for our relationship".

Yibo and Zhan were absolutely speechless. Shou Nian and Seungyoun said that it was probably the evening at the wedding celebration when the foundation stone was laid for them. They happened to meet again a few days later at a café and talked for a long time.

From then on, they became friends and met regularly, but their friendship soon became more than that as they got to know each other better. And now they have been a couple for a month and wish, especially from Zhan, the blessing for their relationship.

"Yeah sure, why not. You have my blessing." Said Zhan and meant it. And Yibo also agreed and was happy for them. But most of all for Seungyoun, who apparently now finally has someone at his side who reciprocates his feelings one hundred percent.

The two of them have not only been a couple for nine and a half years now, but have also been happily married for eight years. The two live together with Seungyoun's parents in a house near the capital. They opened a bar together after Shou Nian announced his retirement from the swimming team.

Their Chinese-Korean bar is very popular and especially meets the taste of the young adults. And their manager is none other than Yibo's former boss from the bar.

Zhan and Yibo sometimes visit them in their bar. But mostly they prefer to spend their time at home. They still prefer the togetherness and seclusion that their house offered.

Moreover, something else had happened in the lives of the two authors. Something why they preferred to be at home rather than out and about.

They adopted two children four years ago. Twins at the age of seven months. The two girls completed their married happiness. With them they are a real family and another dream of Yibo came true.

Louis also found his happiness. He met Mai Ling who was the same age and fell in love with her. The two got married only four months after they met. They moved together to Shanghai, where Mai Ling's children live.

However, Zhan and Yibo did not hire a new driver when Louis left them. The job is taken over by Daddy Yibo himself.

Once a month, however, Yibo changed the safety of the car for his motorcycle. Then when his mother-in-law took the twins for the weekend and he drove away with Zhan.

In the summer, they always drove to the lake, where they spent their short trip. And the rest of the year, they just drove off. It didn't matter where they spent their child-free weekend, the main thing for them was that they were together.

A fan of Yibo once wrote him a letter and asked him: "What if you could turn back time. Would you change anything?"

Yibo wrote the answer in his last book.

"To my fan. I have thought long and hard about your question. But I must say I would not change anything. Of course there are things you wish you could have changed. But if it weren't all these things, I wouldn't be the man I am today.

I would not have been happily married to my soul mate for ten years. I wouldn't be a father and I wouldn't be a author.

So no, I wouldn't change anything. I had to go this way, my way, to get to where I am now. With my husband who I love more than anything and without whom I can't imagine my life. We have two adorable kids that I love with all my heart. A loving and sincere mother-in-law who loves me like her own son.

Yibo lies in bed next to Zhan on his side and looks at his husband. He smiles and thinks about their first meeting. And just like then, his heart starts beating faster.

Sometimes Yibo has the feeling he could burst with happiness. In this big wide world, to have found the person who is right person for him was not only luck in his eyes. It must have been fate.

And just like back then, Yibo still believes that his parents and Zhan's father from heaven made sure that the two of them met and got to know each other. That they fell in love and became happy.
