The Mermaids and The Werewolves (Up for adoption)

Chapter 7

Wolfy's POV

All throughout first period I couldn't wait for art class. I would get to see my mate again. After Kai went to go get dressed this morning I had to leave to go check on my pack because I'm the future alpha. My pack is the Silver Blood pack. When first period ended I went straight to art hoping I would get to talk to Kai before class started. When I entered the classroom I saw Kai sitting in her seat with her back towards me so I decided to sneak up on her.

Kai's POV

I was sitting in my seat in art class doodling when someone decided to sneak up on me and scare the crap out of me. After I managed to calm my racing heart I looked up and saw Eric.

"Hi, Eric,"

"Hey, Kai," he said while grinning at me. That grin reminded me of the wolf from earlier. 'I hope the wolf comes back later today,' I thought to myself.

"How was your morning?" I heard Eric ask me snapping me out of my thoughts.

"It was good," I replied while thinking of the wolf. "How about you?"

"It was good."

After that our conversation ended because the bell rang signaling the beginning of class. We were told to start painting a landscape so I started painting the lagoon. After a while I heard Eric start talking to me.

"I like your landscape,"

"Thanks," I replied. "Yours looks good too." He was painting what looked like a cabin deep in the woods.

"Thanks," he replied.

I finished early so I started working on my math homework from last night. I was having trouble on the last few problems on the worksheet so I asked Eric to help me on them. I offered him my pencil so he could help me solve the problems and when he went to take the pencil our hands brushed sending little sparks through my hand causing me to flinch. He must have felt them too because I saw him flinch. After a few minutes he was able to explain to me how to solve the problems.

"If you need help with math I can tutor you." I heard him tell me.

"That would be nice," I told him. I didn't know why I told him that since I barely know him, but something inside me was compelling me to say yes.

"Cool, how about tomorrow after school at your house."

"Sure," Why did I just agree to letting this stranger come to my house to tutor me.

After school, me and my siblings went home and decided to go to the lagoon and swim. As we were swimming I saw a pair of gold eyes watching me swim. Wolfy! I decided to go say hi to the wolf and swam to shore where the wolf couldn't see me. Once I was out of the water and I had my normal legs back I walked over to the wolf and bent down so I was eye level with him. The wolf watched me the whole time. When I got closer to him, he lowered his head to the ground showing me that he wasn't going to hurt me.

"Hi, wolfy," I said to the wolf in a cooing voice, not wanting to scare the wolf away. He started licking my cheek causing me to laugh. The wolf stopped licking me and just looked at me. It looked like the wolf was grinning. I started petting the wolf and scratching behind his ears causing the wolf to lean into my touch causing me to smile for some odd reason. For some reason being with this wolf makes me really happy and when I'm not around the wolf I get lonely. I feel like that with Eric too. After a while of just sitting there talking to the wolf and petting it Kyle came up to me and told me that we were leaving. I stood and went with my brother and noticed the wolf was following us. When we got back to the house the wolf followed me to my room. The wolf left my room and came back with a pair of my brothers sweat pants. Then all of the sudden I heard the sound of bones breaking and watched as the wolf changed into a human being. I just stared at him in awe until he snapped his fingers in front of my face bringing me out of my trance. I looked at the guy and realized it was Eric. "Eric?"

"Yep."

"You're a werewolf?"

"Yep."

"Oh my gosh... wait, what are you doing here and why do you keep coming to visit me?" I wasn't surprised that werewolfs exist, I was just surprised that Eric was a werewolf.

My friend The Joker wrote this chapter and probably most of the others after this because I am at a loss of what direction to take this story.
