E-exes? Thought Young Ji. After she had seen the picture that she asked from Young Joon, the thought had never left her mind.
She couldn't brain out the relations between Jin Woo, her fiancé, who is also known to be Hee Joo's ex, and also Hee Joo, whom she thinks as herself.
But why, though? Of all the people in the world would he be related to this woman. She thoughts as she keeps looking at the picture in her hand. Just as she was about uncover the truth, well, almost, she feels like she is back to square one. Blur as she is now, and clueless.
At the same time, Young Joon peeks out from her door, checking if she's okay. But given to what he's seeing now, he knew this 'thing' had made a bang out of her mind.
Oh, Hee Joo. I wish you didn't have to realize that part of the history that you never want to recall. He thoughts. He remembered after Hee Joo had ended things with this Jin Woo guy, she tried her best not to rethink back what she had with him, or having the stuffs he gave to her. Trying so hard, she grabbed all of the things and burned them into ashes.
She did so all because she knew her heart belongs to the one and only she loves, the one who's very close to her heart. What she did, had made Young Joon felt appreciated. Great times it was for Young Joon, rethink back of Hee Joo's efforts for his happiness.
Regaining himself from the thought, he straightens himself and knocks her door and approaches her.
"Hey, are you alright? You've been so down after what I've told you about Hee Joo and your fiancé's history." said Young Joon as he sits beside her. He hesitates as to whether this is the right time to comfort her. In the end, he decides not to. Young Ji sighs.
"I just... this is all too overwhelmed for me, and I think it's gonna take some time for me to take all this information in for me. I... didn't expect to realized this." she replied in a glumly tone.
Seeing her like this, it aches inside him. He knew, regardless of what identity this woman have, Hee Joo or Young Ji, it pains to see her feeling downcast like she is now. But he also knew, for Hee Joo's sake, he had to tell her, and also to help her recover her memories.
"I understand that this is a lot to take in for you, I try to help in any way that I can. But, this 'thing' had happened and, this have been a history in Hee Joo's life. I'm not saying this to stress you out, though."
"I know, and I appreciate your help. You have done a lot for me, you even let me stay here to let me feel better. Yet I don't deserve all this." said Hee Joo. Suddenly, he grabs her hands gently.
"Deserve or not, I would still help you. I just want the people that I care about to have the best help they get." he replied, trying to assure her, and to not let her feel so.
The two held gaze at each other for a moment, and smiled. Everything for you, Hee Joo. So you could come back to me. Thought Young Joon.

Days passed, and it's been quite a while since Young Ji had stayed in Young Joon's house. It should have been only for a few days for her to stay there, but Young Joon extended her stay out of concern and pity.
And today, peaceful as always, Young Joon is sitting on the couch beside the fireplace, reading a book while taking a sip of his favourite coffee, espresso.
On the other hand, Young Ji is still looking at Hee Joo's stuff, as if it was not enough for her to remember things.
As she is busying the stuffs around her, Young Joon stopped his reading for a moment and checking on her. He then puts down his mug.
