It has been 4 days since Hee Joo's initiative to investigate the accident she went through that caused her to go amnesia.
So far, she had been watching Jin Woo's every move, his sudden meeting with an anonymous, and even went snooping on his phone whenever he goes to shower.
But, nothing leads her to the next clue. There's only one particular conversation in which caught her interest and curiosity. She tried to read them, but at times, Jin Woo returned so soon that she had to wait for a perfect time to do so.
Many times, she thinks about confronting him. I don't think he's going to tell me about it, he always seems so secretive. She thought dismissively.
Just then, a realization hit her. She found herself never speak face to face with Young Joon's fiancée. She only had been passed by her at times she'd go find Young Joon for help.
Who knows she might have ulterior motives. That's what she thought.
Maybe she has something to do about the accident. I feel there's something fishy about that woman. She thought deeply.
But then again, she asks herself. "How am I gonna get her to see me? Let alone what about it." She muttered and slumps to the edge of her bed.
She thinks about asking Young Joon to ask her to come meet her, but then she realized it would make it suspicious to Mi Jung.
And then suddenly, her face lights up as though an idea has popped out of her head. Without hesitation, she grabs her car keys and leaves for Young Joon's workplace.
It might seem as rude to come without an appointment with him, nor any reason to go there, since the workplace itself doesn't have any relation to her. Let alone business.
But she dismisses the thought. For the time being, she only thinks about trying to bump into the woman who's about to marry the love of her life.
After what feels like 15 minutes later, she had arrived there. She's still in her car, eyeing for Mi Jung's face in the hall of the building from afar.
She grunts in annoyance.
"What time is it now? How come she's not appearing anywhere?" She nags as her eyes are still looking around for any sign of the woman.
Not long after, she finally saw Mi Jung just arrived to work. She scoffs and rolls her eyes.
"Who does she thinks she is? I thought people should be on time for their job." She muttered and gets out of her car.
Trying to be smooth, she walks towards the building as she waits for the exact moment to bump into Mi Jung.As they get closer to each other, Mi Jung's heels clicking so loud that the entire building can hear them.
That's some heels, Thought Hee Joo as she rolls her eyes.
"Ow! Watch where you're going!" Mi Jung nags as she rubs her arms. She turns to her front and a knowing look shows on her face.
"...It's you. Young Ji, right? Young Joon's friend." She guessed, she looks at her with disgust, but her tone remains calm.
The word 'friend' seems to be making her liking to label Hee Joo with her fiancé.
Hee Joo, on the other hand, is pretending to dust off her clothes, also acting like she didn't hear her earlier, then turns to annoyed Mi Jung.
"I'm sorry, I didn't see you. I was actually looking for Young Joon over some stuff." Said Hee Joo as she continues to act guilty.
Young Joon? What is her deal with him? Thought Mi Jung as she looks at Hee Joo with her eyes narrowed.
