Chapter 7

While Young Joon is driving, he can't stop shedding tears worrying her beloved girlfriend's whereabout after he knew that she isn't in the car.

Half an hour later, he arrived the scene. As he gets out from the car, he rushes towards the officer.

"Officer, I'm Young Joon. Can you tell me what happened here?" ask Young Joon with frightened feeling. As the officer explains the accident to him, Young Joon in shocking feeling start searching for her around the car, but the polices tries to block his way from getting near the scene.

Not long after, Mi Jung arrives. She approaches him and holds his hand.

"I'm so sorry, Young Joon-ah. But I tried to warned you before." said Mi Jung laying her head on his back.

He turn around and gripping Mi Jung's arms, looking at her fiercely.

"This is all your fault! Look what you've done, cursing my girlfriend to die! Are you happy now?" said Young Joon furiously. Mi Jung just stay clam and quiet, looking at him with plain look.

He cries and cries, begging at Mi Jung to make Hee Joo to return. But he ended up passed out on Mi Jung's arms.

Awhile later, Young Joon woke up from consciousness, he looks around and sees Mi Jung waiting beside him, holding his hand.

"Are you okay?" ask Mi Jung worried.

"W-where am I? Where's Hee Joo?" ask Young Joon rushing.

"Calm down. You can't move too much. You need to rest."

"Why should I? Hee Joo is probably waiting for me out there!" said Young Joon panicking.

Mi Jung quickly hugs him, comforting him by patting softly on the back. While Young Joon cries sadly.

3 years later, time have passed and almost everything have changed. Hee Joo's parents have moved out from the house and left to their hometown. While Young Joon is dating Mi Jung after Hee Joo's death 3 years ago.

After her parents left their house empty, a new resident have moved in to that house.

Even both of Mi Jung and Young Joon have graduated from their university last year, they might have been planning to engage this year.

The wheather looks great to Young Joon, always the same sitting on the fields at the park, watching the beautiful sea with people hanging out picnicking, skateboarding and many more.

As Young Joon left the park, he gets in his car and left to somewhere.

Half an hour later, Young Joon stopped his car at the parking lot of Hanguk Hospital.

As he goes in the entrance hall, he walk towards the counter and goes to the lift.

Not long after, he arrives the 5th floor and goes out from the lift, passing a woman with ponytail hairstyle. As the lift door is about to close, he notices something familiar, he quickly look at the woman inside the lift but it's a shame, he's too late.

I thought I familiar with that woman. Thought Young Joon as he walks into a room.

In the room, his brother is laying on the bed, with IV pack hanging beside him.

"How are you feeling, my bro?"

"Feel a lot better. The doctor said that I can go home tomorrow."

"Well, I'm relieved that you're okay." said Young Joon. His brother chuckles softly.

"Hyung, you know what? I think I just saw someone familiar just outside the lift. I think it must be Hee Joo." said Young Joon with a serious look.

"You still can't stop thinking about your ex-girlfriend, huh?"

"Hyung, don't say that."

"I am right, you have a girlfriend now, don't try to hurt her by saying this nonsense to her." said his brother caring him.

Young Joon couldn't talk back his brother, so he just keep quiet.

After paying his brother a visit, he left the room and on his way to back home. Just as he got out from the hospital, he sees the woman from the lift again. He runs to her and approaches her.

"Hee Joo-ah!" called Young Joon as he holds the woman's arm. The woman turns around with a curious look on her face.

"Who are you?" ask the woman while holding a basket of cookies.

Both of them stare at each other. Young Joon look surprised while the woman look curious like she doesn't recognize him.
