"Oh, coffee!" Anne Grey excitedly says, staring at Derek Morgan. He had just walked into the room, along with with Aaron Hotchner behind himself, holding multiple cups of coffee.

"Careful, it's hot," Derek warns, before handing off a cup to her. He was happy that Anne had calmed down significantly, knowing that it was purely due to Spencer.

Hotch gives a cup to Reid, as well, since he had figured the man would want some, as he always did.

"How much sugar's in it?" Anne asks, taking a sip, disregarding Morgan's warning and burning her tongue.

"You said seven packets of plain sugar, right?" he rhetorically asks.

She smiles instantly. "Thanks," she says, looking to Reid and noticing his mildly bewildered expression. He wasn't sure why she had asked Morgan for coffee so quickly. "I, uh, figured it would jump my blood sugar. It was starting to get kinda low since I had missed lunch," she explains, recieving a nod.

Grey then looks to Hotch, asking, "You get the summary on everything, dad?"

"I would think I heard a completely different story, with how casual you're being," he says, raising his eyebrows at her.

She nods, setting her jaw and replying, "I already heard it from Spencer. It's over, it's done. Nothing to be worried about now." She was nearly quoting what Derek had said to her earlier word for word, and he seemed to pick up on it.

Shaking his head, Aaron digresses, "Morgan said three of your ribs are cracked?"

"They're setting up an x-ray now, and I'll know for sure then. The paramedic placed his bet on that, though," she agrees, narrowing her at him as a bit of a challenge. "And if you so much as say the words 'vacation time' right now, I'll lose my shit." She knew that he would try to get her to stay home until she was entirely healed, but she wouldn't be having that.

He tilts his head, realizing that he was caught."Two weeks," he says.

Anne scoffs. "Two days."

Morgan and Reid both thought that two weeks was perfectly reasonable, but stayed silent.

"One week," Hotch counters.

"Four days. I come back on Monday."

His eyes narrow as he gives in."Fine."

"Good." Grey takes another sip of her coffee, then gives Aaron an inquisitive stare. "Reid said that he thinks satan's gonna be dead soon, you agree?" She used the name 'satan' to add some kind of humor to the discussion, but still doesn't laugh.

Hotch nods, giving Spencer a quick glance and agreeing, "Yes, I do." He had been skeptical at first, but he was starting to agree with Reid after having some time to think on it.

"Then, I'm not worried about pressing charges or anything. Should I be?" Grey's knowledge through her J.D. made her believe that she was right, but she was also aware that Hotch would know more.

He shakes his head. "I wouldn't be. You'll get insurance compensation for all of your injuries, and there isn't much else, right?" Morgan had told him that the suspect who hurt Anne was dead, so that made Lawrence the only person left in the equation. If Reid had him hammered, that would be it.

"Yeah, nothing else. I guess they can probably get the cellmate's name from prison record for the mandatory police reports and shit?" she responds, hoping that she wouldn't be involved in any part of the legal process. It was a plain self defense case, and if Lawrence died soon there would be no reason for her statement to be needed.

"Uh huh. You don't legally have to be involved in any part of it, if you don't want to. I wouldn't think that he's had enough time in jail to enlist anyone else."
