Normally, I would fall asleep during a ride. But, in this kind of situation, there was no way I would fall asleep!
My head was thinking and thinking.
" Lia or the interview? Haish... I need to make up my mind and focus! ".
" Maybe I should focus on my interview first! Yeah! But... maybe I could message Lia and ask her for some advice.... ".
" Oh C'MON! ", I screamed.
Then, I realized. I was in a public bus.
I looked away from the window and noticed that half of the passengers were staring at me, with confused faces.
I had never felt this embarrassed in my whole life.
I even overheard the passengers in front of me. It was a mother and her daughter.
" Mummy! Is something wrong with that man? Why is he yelling? ".
" Shush! Dont ask so loudly! We're right in front of him! Anyways, just pretend that you didn't hear him... ".
How embarrassing.
I then started fidgeting with my phone screen.
Should I message her?
No...
Wait, maybe I should!
But also at the same time, she might be busy...
But maybe, she's free right now!
Yeah! I should! I'm a grown man! This is just a message!
I quickly whooped out my phone and went straight to the messages.
I typed,
" Hey Lia! Chris here! Umm, I was just wondering.. ".
Then, I stopped halfway.
I thought to myself,
" Wait, won't this be weird? We just met! Oh jeez... ".
I deleted my half-typed message.
Maybe I can text her after the interview..
Then, my phone buzzed.
I looked at my screen and saw,
" Message has been successfully sent! ".
I then looked at the name, it stated, Lia.
My face frozed. My eyes were widened in shocked.
I accidentally typed and sent,
" Hey Lia! Chris here! ".
" WHAT THE FUCK! OH CRAP. I THOUGHT I DELETED IT! OH SHIT OH SHIT ! ", I screamed in silent.
But for real, I swear that I did press delete.
Oh no.
My fat-ass fingers must have mispressed the sent button.
I face palmed myself so many times. I sighed hardly.
The message has already been sent..
Well, all I need to do is wait for her to reply...
I switched off my phone, and then started head-banging against the window.
" Why. Why. Why. Why. Why. Why. Did. I. Press. Sent. ".
