to say that a certain blonde haired teenage boy was feeling anxious would be understatement. questions were buzzing through his mind,

would he remember me?

what if he hates me?

what if he thinks i'm ugly as hell?

what if he ignores me because i'm a total piece of shit?

all he wanted was to be friends with michael, the mysterious boy who had caught luke's attention.

luke thought that michael just had something about him which was reeling the blonde in. luke wasn't sure what it was. maybe it was his unique hair, his adorable face, the way he acted. he wasn't sure.

luke tried his best to ignore this, concentrating on trying to think up an interesting conversation that he and michael could both contribute to.

galaxy boy was mindlessly wandering around the general area where the xbox games where found, and luke was thankful that he liked video games, or else his online persona would totally be offended.

luke sneakily went into an aisle, next to the one that michael was in, and tried not to let him be seen by ducking behind the rack of games.

although, michael caught a glimpse at his familiar blonde hair before he saw it disappearing. michael furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and lifted his feet up so he was now situated on his tiptoes, and brought his head forward to see over the rows of games on the other side.

luke cursed quietly when he heard a small giggle from above, hesitantly lifting his head to see michael looking down at him with a very amused look at his pale face. the blonde looked like a dear in the headlights.

"um, what are you doing?" you could tell he was trying to not laugh in case luke felt extremely embarrassed and didn't want someone to laugh at his stupidity.

with wide eyes, luke spoke, "uh, just . . . checking for bugs . . . and, um, stuff . . ." he bowed his head in shame.

michael chuckled, "i'm michael, remember me? from school?" he then let out an uneasy laugh, "yeah, sorry about that, by the way," then he mumbled under his breath, "really sorry . . ." so quiet that luke could barely hear.

"yeah, how could i forgot you?"

silence.

michael raised an eyebrow in question.

luke raised one back, confused.

"well . . . what's your name?"

luke mentally pace palmed, and he could definitely feel a blush creeping its way up his cheeks, "luke. i'm luke."

michael smiled, "well, luke, you should probably get up. i don't think that sitting on the floor of a store is very hygienic."
