when luke was waiting at ashton's locker anxiously -luke had already gone and grabbed his own bag from his locker and is ready to go home-, he just wanted time to speed up.

leaning against the wall in between two sets of lockers, watching students wiz by, rushing to get wherever they needed to be. he was tired as heck. barely got any sleep last night. too busy on tumblr.

"yo, mate!" familiar dimples fill luke's vision when a cheerful ashton stood in front of luke.

"hey . . ."

ashton frowned, "you don't sound too happy to know this guy's name, y,know." he teased a little.

the blonde's eyes widened in remembrance, "oh! yeah, completely forgot sorry. so . . ." he trailed off, "what's his name?" luke dragged the a.

ashton smiled and adjusted his backpack straps on his shoulders, "michael." he grinned.

luke mentally did a happy dance, but managed to stay cool, calm and collected on the outside. "michael . . ." he tested it out. "michael." he dragged the i. "michael. perfect." the name rolled off his tongue like it was meant to me. he let out a little squeal with grinning like a fool.

ashton was taken aback when the younger blonde threw his arms around the more muscular boy, while chanting in a whisper, 'thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you . . .'

"aha, hey mate, cal and i are gonna hang out at the shops, wanna join?"

"will you buy me food?" luke smirked sheepishly, hoping his devilish ways will get passed his curly haired friend.

ashton kissed his teeth, then chuckled with a wide grin spreading across his features, "yes, sure, whatever. come on, the kiwi awaits!"

calum and ashton weren't surprised at all when luke make a beeline for for a certain fast food restaurant, which we won't mc-name for mc-reasons.

"hi, what can i get for you?" the young women behind the counter greeted, obviously getting frustrated with how many times she has had to say that line over and over.

luke just ignored that and smiled at the girl, "hey, can i get a mcchicken burger, medium chips and a small coffee frappé. thanks."

the girl entered in the order, then looked back up, a blank expression on her noticeably faked tanned skin, "is that all?"

"yeah, thanks!" luke turned around to chitchat to his two friends while waiting, but was met with unfamiliar faces scattered around the huge food court, no sign of his mates.

he huffed out a large breath. this always happens. they always just walk away from him in public without warning him.

his mind soon wandered to galaxy boy; michael.

damn, that boy.
