As I lay there tears in my eyes, my heart is heavy as the sweet smell of Kyomi fills the room. The sound of her singing, her voice is so angelic. I get up to join her in the shower suddenly there's a knock at the door. I throw on some sweats.....

And I open the door to find...

"Caleb wassup man you good?"
I shook his hand but I noticed he was shaking his palms were sweaty.
"Come In. I assume you're here for Kyomi she's showering. She shouldn't be much longer can I offer you something to drink?" He hasn't said a word. Something isn't right.
"Man you good? I know you guys are stressed about the case but- before I could finish he looked at me with disapproval...
"How did 𝒚𝒐𝒖 get 𝒉𝒆𝒓?? Like she's perfect. Everything about her from the way she tilts her head to the right side when she's happy. The way her hair flows in the wind. Even the tone of voice and lip quiver is perfect when she's passionately stating facts. 𝑺𝒉𝒆 is perfect."
I looked at him and I took a moment to look around the place and I notice something doesn't feel right I stepped back In disbelief I shook my head no. I'm tripping I know she wouldn't cheat on me with this pathetic piece of shit she's not even attracted to his type... or is she?? WHAT THE FUCK!!! I just can't wrap my mind around this shit.
"why do you need to see my fiancée playboy?"
"Ah so you asked her the big question? What did she say?"
"Was she suppose to say no? Is there something you want to tell me g?" The son of a bitch is trying me.
"Nah man that's dope congratulations playa but um I gotta jet tell your girl forgive me, "𝒇𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆́𝒆" I'll be in touch." He walks out the door. And I stand there veins popping, mind racing, I'm seeing red. Fuck. I go to the kitchen and take two double shots of tequila Before confronting my fiancée... I walk to the room where I find her shut in her prayers closet crying her eyes out. I fell to my knees outside the door and silently cried and prayed with her as we had done many times before whenever she was sad or stressed or dealing with trauma. When she finished she walked out and sat beside me. I wiped her tears as she wiped mines. She smiled and said,
"My Love you mean more to me than you will ever know I love you so much and I pray God gives you the strength to truly forgive me and we heal or the strength to let me go." I shook my head I can't imagine my life without her she gave me her virginity and I gave her the world. Or at least I thought I did. Then it hit me there is another person living on this earth that has had what is mines he basically stole from me! "Babygirl who was it? Just tell me his name."
"What will that benefit you baby? What will having that information do for us we shouldn't be focusing on who we should be focusing on why..." she stands and walks to the kitchen. I followed closely behind her. damn her ass looks good. Focus.
"I just don't want us focusing on who. Okay? I'll tell you whatever you want to know except that." I sat at the island as I watch her prep for brunch.
"Caleb came over." Just as I said that my Queen began to tremble her breathing became shallow. And I watched as sweat started to form on the back of her neck. Which only happens when she's nervous, scared or uncomfortable. I walk behind her and run my finger across her neck. Which calmed her instantly. She looked at me and smiled...
"Well are you gonna tell me what he wanted baby?" Ah ha she's playing it like that. I go to pour another double shot. I take her a glass but she denies her drink. Which isn't like her. She's smart, everyone knows when Kyomi is drinking and there's something bothering her she will speak on it. I take my seat. As I watch her set the table my mind began to race. She looked at me and smiled and continued to get brunch ready.
The sound of her humming brings me peace. I have to find out who touched you. Queen, you belong to me. I think to myself as I watch her ass sway back and forth she's wearing my tank top that looks like a dress on her. The way it falls just below the crease in her cheeks her body is so perfect and someone defiled you my flower. I cannot have that.
"Please just tell me who." She turned and looked at me.
"Baby I thought we agreed that we wouldn't go there."
"No Kyomi you said it wasn't beneficial for me to know. I believe otherwise I mean who are you to tell me what's beneficial for my healing? Woman you hurt me and i still love you but you're trying to tap dance around what happened like it didn't." She walked to the fridge.
"Apple or orange juice?" She said.
I didn't answer she knows I prefer apple juice.
"Okay apple it is." She sets the food out and take her seat across from me. She reached for my hand as she has always done before we eat she will bless our food. I can't help but to admire her beauty she's amazing.
She began to eat and I just sit and watch sipping my drink.
"Did Caleb say what he wanted this morning baby?" I chuckled evilly.
"Yea he said he wanted you."
Just as I said that it was like the air around her was none existent. Her eyes began to water. "Oh he also said that he'd be in touch. I'm guessing it has something to do with work." I kept my eyes fixated on her. She's about to break. She reaches for the drink I poured her earlier she downed hers. Checkmate Queen I got you now. then she reached for mines. She smiled.
"It probably has something to do with that case We were so stressed about. Just thinking about it makes me tense." She ran her hand across the back of her neck then slowly down the center of her 36c breasts she's breathtaking. But I'm onto you Queen.
"So I was thinking about throwing our engagement party next month so everyone will be aware and prepared before the ceremony planning begins. Oh and Caleb was the first to congratulate us  he said that's dope being engaged and whatnot." At this point she stands and began to put her food away. As if she lost her appetite. I stand and watch while sipping my drink. She's a mess and I hate myself for doing this because I know she's hurting and I shouldn't make her feel worse but I have to know who took advantage of us, Queen.
"Hey be sure to invite your partner. Since he was one of the first people to find out. Plus I like him. He's cool. But look beautiful I have to go run some errands right quick I'll be back shortly. I kissed her and went to get my gym bag. I'll be back beautiful get some rest." Just as I turn to step off the porch, Wait no I just can't leave her not right now not like this. So I turn around to go back inside. I find her sitting on the living room floor staring at our picture framed on the wall. It was one of our favorite pictures. We were running and playing on the beach Ari caught some amazing photos of when we first realized we were soul mates. The sun began to set and I held Kyomi in my arms I kissed her forehead as the orange and yellow rays kissed her brown skin her eyes are like pools of honey. Her hair was cut short in a messy bob that fell just at the base of her neck. This was the summer before she started college. The same summer I finally got my chance to make love to her and she gave me her virginity. She still hasn't noticed me standing behind her. I sit my gym bag down and sit behind her with her between my legs I wrap my arms around her.
"Nate please forgive me." She's shaking and holding a bottle of gin.
"Beautiful I have forgiven you but it would help if I knew you violated you, us. " just as I said this she snatched away from me stumbling to her feet. She threw the bottle back.
"No okay Just stop it. I told you I messed up. it doesn't matter who it was with just know I did it ok? Fuck! you're so worried about who but you never wondered why? How about you ask me why!!" At this point I stand up. I walk to her and take the bottle. I sit it on countertop. "Kyomi listen to me. I love you I want to be with you. I was your first don't you think it hurts me to know that I'm not your only anymore?" She breaks down. I hate seeing her cry. The sound alone is gut wrenching. Her hands are shaking and if she doesn't calm down she'll be on the floor hyperventilating soon. I cannot have that. "Come here beautiful. Listen calm down okay all you have to do is tell me who it was and I'll never ask or bring this up again. Who was it Queen?" She looked at me a way I've never seen before. She didn't say anything. She stepped back and walked away down the hall to the bedroom grabbing that bottle on her way.  I'm so fucking pissed like who does she think she is?? Or who does she think I am? I know it was Caleb. She may not tell me. But he is too cocky. "I'm going to the gym."
