Connor's P.O.V.

As I headed back downstairs, I ran into Kian. He looked at me with a shocked expression. He actually looked a little scared for some reason.

"Kian? What's wrong?" I asked cautiously.

"N-nothing. I just..." He zoned out.

"Kian. Tell me what's up." I asked quietly, but loud enough to speak over the loud music.

He looked around, grabbed my arm and brought me back upstairs and into one of the bedrooms. He shut and locked the door before staring me in the eye. He looked like he was about to cry.

"Ki-" I started but was cut off by a loud bang downstairs. I looked at Kian as tears escaped his eyes.

"Connor, please don't leave me here alone." He started to sob.

Ignoring Kians pleads, I ran out an ran downstairs. I saw Jc on the ground, Sam standing over him.

"Sam? What the-"

Before I could finish my sentence, Chelsea came out from the kitchen with an ice pack. Sam moved over as she ran to Jc and put the ice pack on his right eye.

I looked up and Ricky looked at me, along with almost everyone else in the room. Ricky came over to me, grabbed my arm, and pulled me into the kitchen.

"What the f-" Ricky cut me off.

"It's not important right now. Kian is upstairs trying to process what happened, which I'll explain later. But..." Ricky softly spoke. "We were wrong about Sam and Chelsea. They aren't cousins. They're-"

I didn't need him to finish his sentence. I ran off out the other kitchen door where no one was. I walked out of the house and sat on a chair on the porch.

Before I even sat down I started crying. Not because I was sad, but because of how pissed I was. Sam has known I've liked Chelsea for a while and he knew what happened at school last week. I should've known they weren't cousins; he would've said something before.

I put my head in my hands for what felt like hours. But, something, snapped. I slowly lifted my head from my hands as an idea came to my mind. I was going to make Sam pay.

I walked back into the house and saw everyone was continuing with what happened before. Kian was next to Jc, helping him hood the ice pack. I looked around, making sure no one was watching, and I quickly ran upstairs.

I ran into the room I was in earlier and grabbed the closest hand gun near me. I made sure it was loading before I put it on safety mode, put it in my back pocket, and walked downstairs. I looked up and saw Sam. I smiled to myself before I went over to him.

"Hey, Sam. Can I talk to you?" I asked happily. He nodded gratefully and followed my. I led him out the door from the porch.

"There's something in the grass and I don't know what it is. Help me check it?" I asked.

"Sure," He said quietly before going to the grass. "Where is it?"

I pulled the gun out, took it off safety, pointed it at Sam, and pulled the trigger.
