Chelsea's P.O.V.

After I told Ricky what had happened, I went home and stayed in bed until school on Monday. Knowing Ricky, he was going to say something to Connor or Sam. It's a good thing Sam doesn't know I know though. He'd be pissed at me for not saying anything to Connor.

I was taken away from my thoughts as I noticed my bus pull up to my bus stop. I had taken extra procession to make sure I was at the bus stop before Connor. If I saw him, God knows what I'd do.

I stepped on the bus and walked to my usual seat. I feel kinda bad about the whole thing in a way. Connor was just jealous. But that didn't give him the right to threaten Sam. Nonetheless pull an actual gun on him.

I cringed at the thought of everything. It was all just so confusing.

After dozing off for a few seconds, I felt an abrupt stop. I looked up and saw the bus driver had a red face. He got off the bus and everyone stood up and started talking to one another trying to find out what happened.

The bus driver came back on a few minutes later and told everyone they would have to find another way to get to school. We were all confused and angry as we got off the bus.

"This is bullshit!" Someone said loudly.

We all called a parent to come and get us. My mom hurried here as she didn't want me late for school.

As I closed the door of the car she sped off down the road. We approached the building after making small talk about Connor. She's always wanting to talk about him for some reason.

As I got out of the car, I heard screaming coming from the side of the school. My mother obviously didn't hear it or she would've stopped the car to help me.

Ignoring the fact my mother didn't notice me as I waved to her to get her to stop, I jogged to where the noise was coming from and froze.

There was a bunch of people cheering at a fight. I rolled my eyes and went over to see who it was. Might as well know who to blame if we get in trouble, right?

As I pushed past some people I saw who was fighting. I almost choked. Ricky was in the middle of pounding Connor. I felt tears threatening to escape but I ignored them and ran up to stop Ricky. Why is there so much drama? I never get a break, I swear.

I grabbed Ricky's sleeve and tried pulling him off. He didn't even budge. Something brought my eyes to Connor's face and my heart sunk.

His nose was bleeding and he already had a black eye forming. I hadn't realized I was staring until something came back and hit me in the nose. I flew back onto the ground and immediately touched my nose. I looked at my hand and saw blood.

Everyone was quiet now. I looked up and saw Connor scooting himself away from Ricky as Ricky looked at me. He looked as if he were about to cry.

"Chelsea I am so sorry. I-I didn't mean to." He stumbled before rushing over to me. He helped me up and was about to take me to the nurse before a voice boomed. Everyone's gaze was directed to the principal, Mr. Foley.

"What in the name of hell is going on here?!" He yelled angrily.

Everyone froze and there wasn't a word spoken.

"Get to class!" He yelled.

Everyone rushed past him to get inside. He stopped Connor, Ricky, and myself. We stood outside for a couple of minutes with him just staring at us before he asked what happened.

"I'll tell you what happened - that little son of a-" Ricky started before I cut him off.

"I accidentally pushed Connor into Ricky as a joke and Ricky got mad, as planned, but he punched Connor in the face and it knocked him down. I went to help Connor up when Ricky was about to take another swing. He accidentally hit me in the face." I lied, still covering my nose.

Connor and Ricky both put their heads down, knowing I'd get mad if they didn't go along with what I said. Mr. Foley looked at them both before telling Connor and I to get to the nurse and Ricky to get to class.

We all did as told quickly. Ricky apologized one last time before heading to class. Connor and I both walked quietly into the nurse. She took one look at us and gasped.

"Sit down." She spoke to me and she walked over to Connor with a wet paper towel and placed it on his nose. He flinched slightly before letting her take care of him.

I watched until she came over to help me. Connor was told to leave, but I knew he wasn't going to. He looked at me and mouthed 'I'll stay outside and wait.' I nodded and forced a smile.

After a few minutes of questions from the nurse, I was able to leave. As I walked out, I saw Connor staring at his phone. He looked like he was...crying?

"Connor? What's wrong?" I ask walking over to him and cautiously putting my hand on his shoulder.

I took a look at his phone when he didn't answer and I felt my heart fill with sympathy and sadness. I looked at Connor as he cried. I brought his head into my shoulder and we stood there for what seemed like forever.

I can't believe what I just read.
