Min Jae smiles, Taehyung and Namjoon are too familiar with this guy. He's one of the trainer in FBI, he train newbies and has train these two several time.

Taehyung hasn't been out of the field in a year, perhaps. The last time he has, he was able to took down two huge guy but got hit pretty bad on his back, which prevent him from going out to the field since.

Even if he hasn't train as much as the others, he does remember how to handle guns and such. Hand combat is not his strength, but he is good at it. He's particularly good with guns, as mentioned above. His aim is surprisingly good and his fast reflexes help him a lot. Since having a weapon makes him feel safe, he always carries gun when ever he's going undercover or doing missions. Better safe than sorry, right?

Namjoon on the other hand, is much better at hand combat comparing to Taehyung. Namjoon have this thing where he could tell the opponent's next move. It's like Sherlock Holmes, the one with Robert Downey Jr. It's not a superpower though, it's rather a special sense he has since he watches the opponent movement closely, then decide his next move in order to take them down.

When Taehyung and Namjoon are in a team, people would often call them the "Secret Weapon". With Taehyung's telepathic ability and Namjoon's amazing fighting skills, they are almost unstoppable. But then after Taehyung's incident with his almost broken back a year ago, Jungkook wouldn't dare to bring them to the field. They only went undercover a few times but that's it. No fighting for the both of them. So they often found themselves doing boring paper work instead of daily training like the others.

When Jungkook announces that Taehyung is going to lead a team to go investigate, he also mentioned the both of them are going out to field since this is the Flower Killer, he wanted them - the "Secret Weapon" to help. Taehyung and Namjoon would normally sit in a van, where they have a bunch of screens and they would give orders to the agents whenever they visit a criminal hideout, but not with this up coming case.

The thing with Taehyung's telepathic ability is that he could hear people's thoughts only if he saw their face. It wouldn't work on pictures or pre-recorded videos. It only works when he sees a person face directly, doesn't matter if they are standing far back, as long as he can still see their faces, he can read their minds.
