Tall towers of challenges and life
Seemingly growing, they thrive
Looming over me
Darkness with no light to see
Vision swarming with shadows
Once again I see the crow
Cowering beneath the pain
The oncoming onslaught of rain
I watch the storms and darkness
Fill my emptiness
With hopelessness
