Lisa's pov

It's been a week since, Lydia moved in and I must say, it has been fun. She'll demand to go out sometimes, depending on her mood. Or shed workout with me in the gym, where she'd trying for twelve minutes and go through her phone for the rest of the time.

She'd take me out for shopping, and we'd spilt the bill like always, even though I'd volunteer to pay fully.

Today I was writing the groceries we need, when she enters the kitchen with a rats nest for hair, looking grumpy.

"What are you doing? " She mutters.

"Writing a list of groceries for Carl to get for us. " I mutter back.

"Why can't we just go? " I look at her and say,

"Because it's Saturday and it's the one day you get to sleep in, and I've never gone grocery shopping before, so " It's all true. Her mid-terms are coming up. I see her stay up almost every night, with some heavy, big biology book on her lap and her mouthing some unpronounceable scientific names.

I have never really gone grocery shopping before..perks of having a lot of butlers, I guess.

Her eyes widen. "What? Honey we have got to fix that. " And suddenly she's wide awake now. She stars fixing her hair, and just like that, it's back to it's wavy, perfect self.

In fifteen minutes, we're at some random supermarket, and I'm completely clueless of everything. Lydia is full on laughing at my face.

She grabs a cart and we go around picking up our essentials.

Then out of nowhere, she says, "get into the cart! "

I give her a look. "What? Are you crazy? "

"Stop being a wuss, and get in! "

"Will the stuff go, then?" I say, changing tactics, to try to get her to quit the lame idea.

"You can keep them on your lap. Come on, get in! You have got to experience, what real shopping is! "

"Oh, This part of you telling me to literally get into a shopping cart which is only used for holding products in. Wow, I've missed the most important part of my life, Lydia. " I say with a flat look.

She keeps pushing me in, and in the end, I'm half in, with my knees hanging out the poor cart, with all the stuff in my lap.

She's giggling, pushing through the other customers, who are giving us wierd looks. Soon enough I'm giggling too.

As we go to the billing station, the cashier gives us a total wtf look.
"Maam, you can't do that. "

To which Lydia is quick to reply. "I don't see any board that says, we can't have fun."

He's speechless. To end the awkward moment, I start placing the items for him to scan.

After paying, it takes me a little time to get out of the cart. Only after Lydia took pictures of me inside the thing.

I even smiled a little goofily for a few. When we reach home, I'm very energetic, so I change into only a sports bra and some comfortable yoga pants and head to the gym for a early workout.

I tie my long hair, into a bun and crank up the gym personalised speakers and connect it to my phone. I start with the treadmill.

And after some time, my ringtone of the Vamps comes up. I wear my wireless earphones and switch my phone to Bluetooth. I answer without looking at the caller ID.

I'm lifting weights now, and my hello sounds more like a growl of effort. A familiar voice chuckles at me.

My brother. Oh, crap. I should have looked at the caller ID.
"If you're busy, I can call later. "

"Keep dreaming, you low life. " My brother, Ethan is always the one with the dirty mind in our house. Well he's a male, we can't except anything more. Especially, from guys, like my brother.

I sigh, feeling already tired from talking to him.
"Why are you calling? Is it something important? "

"Just wanted to check up on you, it's been a long time since we actually talked, sis." More like, I want to know if you're still mad at me.

The truth is, I'm not really mad at him. I'm just mad at his choice of decisions. That one decision ruined my entire life. I was happy he was making friends and all but that affected.

Only then had I understood what my father said from time to time. "Whatever you do, make sure it doesn't affect anybody you know and love, Lis. That's the only thing you should remember when it comes to decision making. "

At the end of the day, Ethan is my elder twin brother. Just because we were non identical twins, didn't mean we didn't have a telepathic connection.

There was a time we were attached to the hip.that was only until 8th grade. Until that kidnapping.

We talk about random things, and I hear noise at the entrance. I see the people I least expected.

Arian's pov

It's hard not to stare. She's only in her sports bra and some stretchy pants that's sticking to her skin. Sweat is pouring downward her skin and suddenly I'm jealous of sweat.

Yep, you heard me. I've definitely lost it. One look at Tony and Kevin tells me, they're thinking of the same thing. That's getting me only more jealous than before.

She's appears to be talking to someone, with those earphones. Shes carrying what looks like a 3kg weight lifting set, each on one hand.
She's lightly panting, her eyes turn hard as they land on my friends. That when it hits me. She's not actually met my friends.

Although when she sees me, her eyes soften a bit. Which makes me smile like a fool. She's looks at Nate, who has no reaction on his face from the view in front of him.

She nod her head to my friends and says, "now, who are they? "

"They're his sidekicks. Don't look at me! " He says defensively with his mouth full. I jump into the act of introducing them to Lisa, and she gives them a curt handshake each.

"Now, Nate you can answer this, what are you doing here? "

"Lydia called us to hang out."

Tony says, "your house is awesome! Like you have a gym in here! "

"This is so cool! Why aren't my parents rich? " She silently scoffs at their words, like there's more to the story.

She looks at me and what am I doing? I was drooling over her six pack abs. She smirks at me and I look away at the speed of light.

Man, she is... Only then do I notice everybody going for the door, leaving me here. I run after them, telling myself to keep my cool.

Downstairs is more cooler than the top. Lydia's watching something, and Lisa sadly, has worn an oversized t-shirt and is in the kitchen.

I sit next Lydia and make sure, Nate isn't close enough to hear. Okay, he's in the kitchen.
"Hey, cuz? " She peeks at me, then looks back at the screen and says, "yeah? "

"Is it still going on in the university? " She stills. That's proof she knows what I'm talking about. She makes a split second decision to play dumb.

"What do you mean? " I say a little too harshly,
"Don't shut me out by playing dumb, Lydia. Answer me is it still happening? "

She sighs, "cuz seriously I'm fine. Carl's just a lowlife who doesn't know what to do with his life. I'm not bothered so drop it. "

I give up. That pest is still bullying her? Even after all this time? "You know I'll be here if you need anything right? "

"Of course I know that, you nitwit. Now, shut up. I'm trying to watch something. " I smile at her even though she's not looking at me. Everything will fine I guess. I damn hope so.
