The sides had just finished filming a new video with Thomas and Logan and Roman were still furiously arguing.

"It is your fault!" Roman yelled.

"Just because you are the least favourite doesn't mean you should lash out." Logan replied, sneering.

"Me the least favourite? I didn't think you told jokes!" Roman snapped.

"Shouting at each other across the room doesn’t count as having a proper conversation about your feelings." Virgil yelled over the top of them.

"Shut it, emo nightmare!" Roman cried out with a growl to his voice.

"This doesn't concern you Virgil!" Logan commented coldly.

"Don't you two yell at him! He is attempting to help! Go to the common room and end this argument!" Patton shouted, frightening the two arguing sides into submission, both of them sinking down to go do exactly as they'd been told.

Logan walked in, his anger contained and concentrated, a frightening concept to Roman. He sat on the sofa and sighed deeply, squeezing the bridge of his nose. Roman stormed in dramatically, tossing his jacket across the room, much too warm to keep it on.

"I cannot believe you." Roman snarled, staring at Logan.

"It is not my fault." Logan replied, finally beginning to loose his cool.

"Go on! Yell at me!" Roman screamed. "Hit me! Show me what you've got! It might make me feel something!" Slowly, he began breaking down. This shocked Logan into returning to his calm state.

"No, Roman." He said calmly, beginning to grow worried for his dear friend.

"Please!" Roman begged, crying now. "I can only feel the burning of my shame and…" he trailed off, deciding that this was not the time for that and he dropped to the floor crying.

"Roman…" Logan mumbled, slowly walking over to the prince and kneeling down.

"Logan I can't feel anything else. Hit me. Make it go away." He whispered.

Roman was rarely this weak, particularly around the other sides, he was supposed to protect them and how could he do that when he was breaking down like a pathetic idiot.

"Roman, look at me." Logan said softly. He often spent time with Virgil and as a result had become rather apt regarding aid during breakdowns such as the one Roman was having. The prince looked up, meeting Logan's gaze, his eyes red and puffy.

"Is this why you were angry? Because you're struggling?" The teacher asked gently, placing a hand gently on Roman's back to soothe him.

"Y-yes." Roman choked out, a sob getting caught in his throat. Being this honest was almost painful.

"Why did you not tell anyone?"

"I am a protector. There is not room for episodes like this one when I am responsible for all of you." Roman whispered, reluctantly admitting weakness and leaning forwards into Logan, tears still spilling from his eyes.

Quickly, Logan wrapped his arms around the prince as Patton had taught him to do and pulled him close, shushing him softly.

"Roman that's not true. You are allowed to have your own feelings too."

"Not these ones." Roman muttered nervously, wishing desperately that he hadn't said anything.

"Care to explain why?"

"Because you do not feel the same." Roman's voice was faint, but Logan heard him loud and clear.

"Elaborate, please. Your hypothesis may not be correct." He urged Roman on.

"It is, Logan. I'm positive." Roman was sobbing still, soaking Logan's shoulder through to the skin, the logical man was less than worried about that however.

Slowly, Logan pushed Roman to a sitting position and smiled at him.

"I wouldn't be if I was you." He whispered, and before Roman could say anything else Logan leaned in and kissed the prince softly. Roman didn't hesitate for even a second, he kissed Logan deeply and his hands immediately found their way to Logan's torso, one hand settling on Logan's hip, finger tips tucked into his waist band while the other ventured up his shirt.

"Roman…" he breathed out softly, Roman smirking at his responsiveness.

"I'm glad I was wrong." The prince informed Logan, who nodded, in some sort of trance due to Roman's hands. With a soft laugh, the prince forgot of his upset and returned to Logan's lips, squeezing his behind to elicit a gasp before rushing his tongue into the intelligent man's mouth, devouring him happily.

Roman pushed Logan down onto the ground on his back, hovering over him with a smirk.

"Perhaps I should open up to you more…" Roman whispered seductively, slowly unbuttoning his shirt.

"Please do." Logan whispered airily with a small nod, eyes hooded slightly.

With a quick movement, Roman was shirtless and then he heard the sound of a door close somewhere else in the headspace.

"Perhaps we should go somewhere more private…" Roman mumbled, a smirk gracing his features. He winked at Logan, gently caressing his thigh before standing and holding his hand out to the man on the ground.

"Come, my love. Allow me to finish what I've started."

"Are you sure? You were crying earlier." Logan mumbled, wrapping his arms loosely around Roman. He'd read enough books to know what he should do, preparing for the slim chance he would end up with the romantic man he felt for.

"I am positive. I want you as close to me as possible right now, nothing would make me feel better."

That was all it took, and oh boy did he finish what he started. Virgil and Patton spent the night in the real world.
