Ghostly and fading

A/N feeling terrible, so have some angst.

Eric pulled out the box from under the bed and dusted it off, once clean he removed the lid and saw inside exactly what he had expected to. The tapes. The only account they had to date of a fading personality.

Day 1:

"Hi. I'm Anxiety, I'm making this as day one of the vlogging I'm going to be doing," he paused and took a breath. "An account of a fading personality. I'm doing this so it can be used in the future to help others, my only positive contribution to anything."

Day 3:

"Day three, I skipped yesterday. This won't be an everyday thing. Some days I can't bare to pick up the camera." Anxiety looked down and wiped a tear. "On the positive side, me and Roman had our 5 month anniversary yesterday." In the background a muffled voice is heard.

"I know Logan, shut up!" Even if he was fading, he wasn't any less of an ass.

"Since day one, I've gotten slightly more transparent and weaker. That's all for now."

Day 4:

"Day four. Managed to find the courage to pick up the camera again today, heh." Anxiety sighed.

"Once again not much to report. I'm weaker and more transparent. I'm also finding that my brain works slower. That's all for now."

Day 5:

"Day five. Three in a row, I'm doing well. Today I'm weaker, I didn't grow any more transparent though I am becoming more emotional. That's all for now."

Day 7:

"It's day 7, Anxiety now finds it difficult to hold the camera so he asked me to vlog the occurrences up until he.. he.." Roman took a deep breath. "Until he fades. To help future personalities." Quickly dismissing the thought Roman continued.

"Anxiety is no longer able to manipulate outer parts of the mind space, if he manages to he almost immediately passes out. He's getting more transparent too."

Then the camera turned to show Anxiety.

"Say hi to the vlog." Roman said sadly.

"Hey. Cheer up Roman, you're finally getting rid of me." Anxiety chucked sadly.

"But now I don't want to..." Then the footage cut out.

Eric pulled out the next storage card for the rest of the account.

Day 9:

"So it's day nine. I found a tripod so this can stay as a one on one experience." Anxiety sighed.

"I'm practically bed bound, walking is getting harder and my brain is less functional. Sometimes I," Anxiety looked down.

"Oh um.. sometimes I just completely loose my train of thought. Just like that. Nothing else to report."

Day 11:

"Day eleven. Now I am literally bed bound. I tried to watch a movie with the others last night and I fell through the sofa."

Anxiety sadly smiled.

"My room is the only place where I can sit down without falling through something, other personalities also can't touch me sometimes now. I'm also becoming more forgetful. That's all for now."

Day 16:

"Anxiety missed a couple of days because of his forgetfulness, but I managed to collect this camera from his room." Roman sighed.

"Anxiety is more transparent and completely bed bound. He can't stand and he can't sit anywhere other than in his bed. That's where he will fade. Um," Roman took a moment to think. "I'm the only personality that can touch him, though we are unsure of why Logan believes that it's due to our relationship. That is all."
Day 17:

"Day 17, Logan or Logic here. I decided to take over from Roman due to his emotional ties to Anxiety, it also gives him time to spend with Anxiety before he fades."

"Since yesterday nothing much seems to have-" Then Roman burst in.

"I can't touch him! My hand goes right through!" The camera fell over as the prince dropped to his knees then is was propped back up and it went off.

Day 18:

"Day 18, Anxiety can no longer speak coherent sentences. The process is much faster than we expected it to be, though I suspect it will slow down in the final days, the brains way of letting us say farewell. Nothing else to report."

Day 19:

"This isn't just about what happens to Anxiety anymore. This is also about how it is effecting Thomas. He is generally more positive and optimistic, though he seems to have more nightmares and rouge thoughts. Anxiety himself is also untouchable and unable to speak, stand or really do anything." Logan swallowed.

"One thing he does seem to be able to do however, is kiss Roman. It is the only thing he's able to do. Nothing else to report."

Day 20:

"Day 20. Roman and Anxiety can still kiss; Anxiety (although his brain seems to be complete mush for lack of a better word) still seems to have perfectly intact emotions towards us all. Thomas is aware of the happenings and has send his condolences, though didn't seem to care or even remember Anxiety that well. Nothing else to report."
