Renee Islington's life had always been a
mess of a charm, jinxing charm, if that even exits.
Nothing ever went on according to the plan. As a
baby girl taking her first steps, her dreams were
to always stay giggling in her mother's arms. That
dream didn't see the light for long when her mother's
death had the baby go into a shock. 

Her father tried his best to help Renee grow
into a beautiful young lady, exactly like her mother
was. There were extremely hard days and ones he
couldn't deal with the amount of tears she had on
Mother's day but he went through with it all, he
loved his daughter and planned to stay with her
forever. 

Again. . . plans. Plans don't go well with
Renee. Her father was mauled to death by an animal,
leaving her as a seven year old orphan in the
world. An orphan convinced that somehow
happiness wasn't for her, that luck wasn't one
of the things she is meant to get out of life. Her
bedtime stories always said that every human
gets a portion of luck, love, sad, good, happy,
and even bad. But all she ever got was sadness?
Who took the rest of her portions?  It was fate. 

Fate. Renee's family was always hunted
down, to the point where the seven year old
was the last Islington alive and breathing, coming
from a long line of werewolves that manipulate
the Earth and control times they turn, where
they were blessed not cursed.  Or at least that
was how they were. Now it was just, Renee. 

The young girl was raised in the Forbes
home with her maternal aunt, Liz Forbes and
cousin, Caroline. She loved them more than
anything, they were warm and welcoming,
loving and they substituted the everlasting
ache in her heart. The warmness didn't last
long as the vampires walked back into town,
to wreck havoc and in an attempt at defending
herself, Renee realizes that she isn't jinxed,
rather feared. Feared enough to have her
parents killed in order to protect her from
every wolf pack out there, demanding her.

I've hopped back on my tvd bullshit. this
plot is amazing and has been stuck in my
head for the past few days & I am so glad
I asked for it! Renee and Stefan are going
to slow burn since he's going to fall in love
with Elena. Renee will potentially have
other love interests during then.
