“ Sakura! Kkura! ” Song shouted. He flew everywhere he could go to find the girl but she just wasn't there. He kicked the stone and sat down on the nearby bench.

He looked around the park, worried of where the girl had went to. Sakura is the type to not look where she was going if she's sad or mad.

Just like miracle, he sees Sakura on one of the swing, all sad with a frown that it made him frown too.

“ hey, you okay? ” Song only heard silence when he asked.

“ hey, don't be sad. i told them something, I'm sure they'll take action. now, dont be sad ” Song said as he stood in front of her and cupped her face, wiping the tears that was streaming from her eyes.

The both of them freeze and stared at each other, locking eyes. For the first time in a while, Sakura saw how Song's eyes sparkled even though he's no longer alive. Song knows what's happening.

He realized it way sooner when he met Sakura. He loves her. Yes, Song is in love with Sakura.

He thought it was a childish thoughts because he's a ghost and she's a human. But seeing Sakura made him feel,,, alive. Even though he's dead.

He doesn't show his love to her because he's afraid he might get attached to her. But it's too late now to turn back.

“ i never told you but, i don't like seeing you sad. it hurts me. i never talk to any human so i had a hard time getting your attention. but when i did, i was over the moon.

i would only come out at dawn and early in the morning but now, i come out every second, just to see you. I love talking to you, i love when you smile, i love all your looks and face, i love everything about you and,,, i just love you but Sakura, you don't have to risk yourself to catch my killer.

I'm fine with the way i am. if i can still love you, I'm fine with even being a ghost. i have absolutely no complaints ” his thumbs gently brushed Sakura's cheeks repeatedly.

Sakura was stunned at the sudden confession. She never knew Song's feeling towards her.

She always get a lot of confession that it sounded bitter to her now adays but when Song confessed, it just felt different.

It felt like something was tickling her heart. It makes her feel giddy.

Without even knowing, Sakura pulled him for a warm hug. Song was startled for a moment but melt into her touches.

“ thank you ” was all she mumbled.

Time skip ( the next day )

“ why do you look so happy? ” Hyewon had Sakura scared the shit out of her when the girl came to school humming a love song and staring out the window like she's in love.

Well, she's not wrong when Song is literally sitting on the window beside them. Sakura looked so ridiculously in love but to Hyewon, she just looked stupid.

“ did someone fed you morphines or what? ” Sakura glared at the duck. She looked at Song and smiled. “ she has lost her sanity ” Chaeyeon pointed at the older girl.

“ what's up with Sakura unnie? ” the three oldest looked towards the maknae line who just arrived. Hyewon sighed, “ someone fed her morphines ” the maknaes gasped.

“ who?? ” Minju asked, eyes widened. Sakura turned to them, glaring as she shook her head. While Chaewon can sense another presence so she took out her phone.

“ don't look at them. they're just jealous that no one likes them ” Sakura whispered and everyone else knew she was talking to Song.

The guy smiled, “ well, aren't you in a good mood today ” the smile on Sakura's face grew wider. “ of course~ i got to see you ” Chaewon wanted to throw up if this keeps going.

“ Sakura, someone wants to see you ” Hoshi peeked into the room. He's like an announcer to Sakura whenever someone wants to meet her.

Sakura raised an eyebrow and looked at all her friends. They all got the same look. She stepped out of the class and was met with a man possibly in his 30s. He bowed and smiled and to Sakura, he looked familiar.

“ I'm Hwang Yunjae. Hwang Sujeen's younger brother ” Sakura was stunned to meet him. so this is Hwang Sujeen's younger brother. Sakura nodded and waited for him to continue. “ i heard it, you wanted to open the case of the senior that died in this school 20 years ago ” Sakura nodded.

“ as you know, my sister was his best friend. i was a first year that time. i knew him very well since he always visited us. when we got the news that he was killed, all of us was devastated.

he was kind, a kind hyung. but, my sister Sujeen, was said to be at the crime scene before hyung was killed so people pointed fingers at my sister ” he took a deep breath and Sakura could see how his eyes began to water.

“ but there was no definite evidence that pointed that my sister was the killer so she lived her life through highschool before taking her own life. I was very depressed at that time but i couldn't give up easily if i wanted to catch that bastard who took both my sister's and hyung's life.

but, the police decided to close the case as there was no leads at all so i got mad ” he looked at Sakura all teary. Song remembered the younger guy as he awed making Sakura glared at him.

“ but when i was notified that they opened the case, i was happy. i wanted to catch that bastard. i asked the officer, why was the case opened again? he said that the head officer's relative wanted to catch the culprit and i found out it was you. Sakura, please.

I'll use everything in my power to help you so please, please don't give up on this. I'm begging you ” his voice cracked and Sakura could see how desperate he was in catching the killer.

Sakura just nodded silently while Song looked at her in worries.

“ I'll try my best. but can i ask you some questions? i just wanna get further information to put everything together ” Yunjae nods as he wiped his tears.

“ okay, do you know what was happening on the day of the accident? ” Yunjae thought for a bit.

“ i think there was a piano competition in the evening and Ark hyung was supposed to compete in it but i heard he didn't showed up so someone else took his spot ” Sakura looked at him with questioning looks.

“ did you know why? ” unfortunately, Yunjae shook his head. Sakura hissed on her breath. “ Ark? who's that? ” Sakura asked, almost forgetting the unfamiliar name.

“ oh, that's the senior that died ” Yunjae whispered. Sakura looked over to Song who was wriggling his eyebrows and looking at her lovingly.

“ was his name Song Ark? ” Yunjae nodded, “ yes but it was spell Ark Song ” Sakura cooed.

The two discussed more before Yunjae excused himself and Sakura went back to her class with Song following her from behind.
