It was the middle of the school year during lunch break while all the other kids were finishing their lunch I had already finished and was studying for my pre-calculus final exam. Now I know what you may be thinking how are you taking a final exam when it's only the middle of the year, well the answer is simple my father never allowed me the simple pleasures in life like making friends or having any free time aside from sleep. That's the only "free time" I get. Father has been teaching me self defense, martial arts and other fighting styles like those with weapons. If he is not training my then he has me studying so I can finish my schooling as soon as possible.

As the bell rings signaling the end of lunch I pack my stuff and head to my Pre-calc class. I enter the room and all the high school students look at me like they do every day. Ignoring them I look at the teacher and simply say " Sir I'm ready for the exam." the teacher looks at me and nods.

He then goes to the back store room where he keeps the test and quizzes, returning a second later he hands me the packet and tells me to sit in the hall to take it and if I need more time when the bell rings to just come back in to finish it. Nodding I take the packet and leave the room. I just barely finish it on time for the end of class. Just a minute before the bell rings, walking to the teachers desk I hand in the packet.

"You don't want to look over it Miss (y/n)?"

"No I'm fine Mr. Lake I did that in the hall sir." I say in response. Getting a nod in response. Leaving the room I head for my next class which is history. I have another test in this class as well. Repeating the same process as in pre-calc, the rest of the day my teachers allowed me to study so I am ready for the exams.

As the school day comes to a close my father picks me up as normal. After being asked the same question every day I give my report. "I had taken two more exams today, I talked to no one other than the teachers and in gym I had been able to practice my martial arts skills, today if it works with your schedule I would like to work on some new techniques and combinations." My father nods at me and hums.

Oh I forgot to mention that I am only thirteen and I am taking classes for people that are five or six years older than me. Besides that small factor I am on par with a young master for my fighting skills, unfortunately father wants me to be a senior master by the time I turn sixteen. Now if I was a slow learner this would be a problem but I am one of the quickest learner's my father has seen in many years, or at least that's what he tells me.

As the week flew by I took my last few exams. By the time Friday rolls around I receive my grades witch are all 100's. Another week passes and my diploma arrives in the mail. In that time father had me training non-stop in order to meet his goals. Finally after a long three years I have passed my father's expectations.

After that day he had been sending me on simple missions mostly to assassinate family threats people who had learned of our trade and would spill the news to everyone they talk to. Well that had continued for another ten years and today just so happens to be my birthday making me twenty-six and this is the year father had told me that I could start being more than a family bodyguard. My first real assignment a real challenge. When my father called me to his office I almost jumped for joy.

After knocking I hear a come in I open the door, walk in, then bow. "Yes sir?" I ask the back of his chair.

"I have a very special mission for you." nodding he continues "Now the man you are going after is the head of a cooperation he has somehow taken out all of the other assassins' I have sent for him. But since you are the best of my best I expect you not to fail." he finishes coldly.

"Yes sir, if I may can I ask a question." I state getting a slight nod I ask "Where does my assignment live?"

His chair turn and I see his sharp gaze "That's for you to find out. That's part of your assignment. Now leave." with that I all but run out of there.
