Taylor could feel the awkwardness going through the car and as always edward was again sleeping, it was like only thing that he could do or either he would just look outside and his gaze will stay there until his eyes are closed. Taylor doesn't knows where she is going, she don't even know where the hell they are. All she knows is wherever they are, it is calming and clear.
It's just like a roadtrip where two people are running away from their homes, or do they even consider it a home. Taylor doesn't even know if it could be called home where it only seems like a five star hotel, you will get every facility and even a room to sleep but no one to talk to and for edward his home was always his parent's home and now as he moved out, it just seems like he is still finding his home.
A home where he can live, talk and just feel safe unfortunately he didn't feel like it anywhere.
As taylor was reversing the car, edward wake up from his slumber looking at taylor as she smiled at him. To be said, everything was fine until now, no bickering, no irritation, no shouting but it was calming between them.
"I think you're going the wrong way," He said, taylor looked at him confused and shake her head. She knew he would say this, only to annoy her.
"I think you should sleep," She mumbled, shaking her head and focusing on the road again. She was annoyed to be said of him, by guiding him where to go and where not to go.
"I think I should drive," He said, pointing at the steering wheel. Taylor groaned and look at him again, he already had a smirk on his face.
"I think you should shut you mouth and sleep," She said, nodding before continuing her driving. Edward wasn't gonna let her do this and he can already sense how much she is stubborn.
"Really taylor, let me drive. I promise I won't broke it," Edward said, taylor just rolled her eyes. "I know you will break it, no matter what but I can't risk it, sorry" She said, shaking her head at him.
"Please, come on, I would even get the best gift for you, if you let me," He said, giving her best puppy eyes he could. She considered for a moment and thought why not, she would get rest while he drives so she stopped the car and sideway and got out of driver seat and walked towards the passenger's seat.
"Now, drive and don't break it okay" She said, he nodded at her as he got in driver's seat and started to drive the car. "Thank you," Edward said, grinning at her.
"Why you're smiling so much?" Taylor asked, frowning her eyebrows at him. "No reason just happy that we're getting along," He told her, she snorted at him. They were far from getting along, she knew it was just around the time, when she will be tired of him and as much he is around her, she isn't getting tired but she wanted to get to know him more.
She can't help but smile at him as he was grinning widely. Something about him was unresistable that taylor couldn't stop feeling and for her this was a weird feeling that she never felt before. She wanted to stop thinking about him and just focus on her life and places where she is going but edward has started to grow on him.
It is no surprise that whenever edward smirk at her or hold her hand, her heart is going crazy in her chest. It is, and it beats so hard that sometimes taylor question herself that is this normal but it isn't. It's something new for her, and she just can't figure out what it is.
"What are you thinking?" He asked, she removed her gaze from window tp him. A smile creeping on her face.
"Are you always like this?" Taylor asked, "Like what?" He asked her, still keeping his gaze on the road ahead.
