Taylor wandered inside the mall trying to find some job but no luck. After walking around for a while she came and sat down at a ice cream parlour. She didn't feel like eating, she was worried for herself and for the house he and edward got. She has to do something to be able to make their life. The life that she and edward chose.
She can see that ice cream parlour was busy, so much busy that the casheir was sweating out. She didn't wanted to help him, but she felt bad for him how this small ice cream parlour was busy and no helping hand was there. She finally got up and walked towards the cashier.
"Sorry we're full," He mumbled typing away on the computer. Taylor chuckled and said, "I'm here to help,"
"Help?" Cashier crooked out, looking at her. "Are you a worker, cause we don't have workers," He said.
"No, I was just sitting there, and I saw you busy so I thought maybe I could help," She said.
"Well, thank you so much, You can start giving from there," He said, pointing to left side of the parlour where there were kids and teenagers standing.
"Okay." Taylor said, walking towards there and wearing the apron that he gave. Taylor started giving the ice cream, almost giving them right. It wasn't that hard, as she just have to pass out the ice creams.
The cashier known as john, was impressed, as he was just getting orders and taylor was giving them their order. After an hour or so, the crowd was finished and only one or two kids were inside parlour eating their ice cream.
"Wow, I'm impressed," John said, smiling at taylor who just grinned back. "I never wanted to get a worker, cause I think I'm cool enough to pull this off, but I guess I need it." He said. Taylor nodded her head.
"So will you be working here?" He asked, taylor was kinda surprised. Never she thought she would be working here at a ice cream parlour.
"Yeah, I just never had experience. This is first time I'm working," Taylor said.
"Are you serious? Looks like to me that you've worked before," Taylor shake her head, denying it. Her parents were really strict, and as well she was rich so she never had to work, so she didn't told john that, instead said she was here for her dreams and this was the start of it.
"So you'll start from tomorrow?" John asked, taylor nodded her head.
"See you, taylor" He said. Taylor started to walk back home, which was really long considering the car was at flat. She wanted to clear her head, and see around the los angeles.
One thing that taylor learned that day was that people were capable of being on their own, even the kids in middle school were working in shops. It wasn't the child abuse but it was something that the kids love to do.
"Hey, one lemonade please," Taylor said to the guy who was making juices and lemonade, she paid him and started to walk back home.
For so long, taylor felt free and full of life and started to run and swirl around under the sun. She felt happy and more than happy she ever felt before. It was like she was a bird that was trapped in the cage and now she is flying and having fun.
