"Peter, that's enough," Taylor's mom voice rang through the house as she yelled at her husband in their room. Taylor could hear them as she slide down near the door, trying herself to not hear anything but how couldn't she hear them when all the noise were about them. Few glasses were shattered on floor in her parents room, clothes thrown in open suitcase and accusations were thrown each other after every few seconds.

"God," Taylor mumbled, getting up from her comfortable sitting position to grab her phone. It was same routine, she would hear her parents fight and then she would turn on her music and listen to whatever she can even sometimes she would cry to songs. Some songs do gave her realization how much she miss being a family, being in home.

For her, this wasn't home. It was more like a hotel, where you come and sleep and do your work or eat. Unfortunately there wasn't a check-in service. Her parents would barely come home and when they are home, they would fight and even slap each others. Taylor was nothing to them, they don't even acknowledge her existance.

Last time when her mom hugged her was when she was 13 year old, on her birthday and now her every birthday is spend at some club or just at home staying alone in her room when she wished her parents would surprise her with cake and candles and kissed her cheek giving her gifts, going to dinner or just staying home with parents.

Funny thing was, she now hates being at home or outside. Home is where she wanted to belong but she can't or realize that she does have a home but it doesn't seems like it was her home.

She opened the door of her window and got out in her pajamas, and laid down on the carpet which was on the floor and looked at sky with stars shining on them. Even stars were also happy unlike taylor.

"So open your eyes and see,'' She sang to herself as song was playing on her ipod 'all of the stars'.

Her eyes were closed as she felt breeze moving past her, her hair flying in the air as she heard angelic voice of ed sheeran ignoring her parents voice that was echoeing in the whole house.

Luckily her parents voices were now down and as always they were on their work next day. Taylor walked down the stairs with her bag hanging on her back. As she sat on kitchen island, her cook stephanie made her breakfast which consists of few things, eggs, sausages and toast. Taylor was more into losing her weight but stephanie no one can argue with her when she is cooking and her cooking is best than taylor ever eat.

"So they left?" Taylor asked stephanie she warmly smile at her. "Yeah took their coffee and went to work," She said, as she poured coffee in cup and gave it to taylor. Taylor sighed and took a sip of it.

"Why do they hate me?" Taylor asked stephanie. Stephanie stare at brunette as she tried not to cry. "Oh dear," She said, as she came towards her and cup her cheek in her hands. "They don't hate you they're just busy and frustated,"  She said smiling at her, taylor scoffed off because she knew that is all the lie.

"Frustated? Of what? Work or me? I guess it's me," She said, she put the fork down and took her bag. "Thank you for breakfast stephanie," She said before kissing her cheek and taking the keys of the car and going inside the car.

She was tired to be said of everything. Her parents, their fights and being in this big house where no one lived except her and stephanie. Now it seems like a routine to work and live like a robot which wasn't really pleasent for taylor.

She drove to the school, it is her last year here in high school and after few months she would be off to harvard university where she would be studying english literature. Literature was one of things that keep taylor mind off the things for a little while.
