Just Play the Tapes

Many believe that the five-fold ministry should just sit and listen to the tapes.

The Word of God and Bro Branham teaches that earthen vessels (men) should pack the Gospel?

2 Corinthians 4:5-7
[5]For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
[6]For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
[7]But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

They therefore believe it is their duty and responsibility of the Lord to preach this message from a heart sealed and filled with the Holy Ghost and do encourage the people to play the tapes at their homes.

For God did not raise up machines to preach the gospel but men who can carry this Gospel in the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost. 

Are these men make-believers and Demas' or are they only fulfilling the commission given to them by the Lord?

169 God won't leave His program. That's the reason we know that, this day, It's got to be simple. See? Now, He always works in simplicity. But God, in the beginning, that could have made the sun preach the Gospel, or the winds preach the Gospel, or an Angel preach the Gospel, but He ordained men for that purpose, and He never changes it. He never ordained in the... He never ordained denominations. He never ordained groups of men. He ordained men to preach the Gospel; not machinery, mechanical devices, or any Angelic Being. It was man!

Granted many wonderful miracles have been done by the playing of the tapes.
However nothing strikes against the enemy more than a life that thunders out the Gospel.

One may ask that if they are true why would they not want to sit and play the tapes instead of preaching the gospel or even play the tapes from time to time?

Could it be that Bro. Branham never commissioned anyone to play the tapes instead of preaching the gospel or playing the tapes instead of going to church?

Brother Branham did promote the playing of the tapes for the furtherance of the gospels.
