To hold to EVERY word of a man even when it is evident that there are words that the man said that do not agree with the Word of the Lord, isnt it to put the man in a position above the Word of the Lord Himself?
Yes there were errors in translation of the KJV Bible that Jesus revealed to Bro. Branham but does this mean we are to place Bro. Branham's sayings above the Word of God?
Is it not the Word of God who is to be our Absolute and not the man?
And it's got to come to one final absolute, and my absolute is the Word, the Bible. And as a pastor here of the church, my absolute is the Word, and I want...I know you, our brothers, you kind of look to me to be your absolute to what...as long as I follow God as Paul said in the Scripture, "You follow me, as I follow Christ."
7 And then I'd expect you brethren, at any time that you see me to get away from this Scripture, to come to me privately and tell me where I'm wrong. I don't care if you're one of the trustees or the...or if you're the janitor, whoever you are, you're duty bound to me, as a brother in Christ, to tell me when I'm wrong Scripturally.

Rev. William Marrion BranhamOur prophet taught us that His Absolute is the Word of the Lord, the Bible
He acknowledges that there were some who kind of made him their absolute but doesn't he urge them to follow him as he followed Christ?
If we follow him as he followed Christ, then is it not Christ who we are following and Christ who is our Absolute?
Then he immediately goes on to urge anyone, even the janitor, who was not even called to preach the gospel, to come tell him whenever they saw him doing or saying anything contrary to the scriptures.
Did he not say this so that the people that kind of made him their absolute would be checking to make sure that he stayed in the Word in all he said and did?
And in so doing would they not have been making the Word of God their Absolute?
How then can we say that no one has the right to correct God's prophets when the prophet himself said that even the Janitor had that right as long as he was doing it by the Word of the Lord?
And if the janitor was doing it by the Word of the Lord then is it the janitor or the Word of the Lord that is doing the correcting?
To say that no one has the right to correct the prophet, is it not to take away the power from the laity and put it in one man? Isnt it magnifying a man?
Now therefore if any man brings the Word of God to us, is he not to receive the same honour as Brother Branham?
1 Peter 2:17
[17]Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
1 Timothy 5:17
[17]Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. If we honour one elder who labours in the Word and doctrine above the others, are we not partial in ouselves and become judges of evil thoughts?
James 2:1-4
[1]My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
[2]For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
[3]And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
[4]Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
