More Than Life

Chapter Seven

Colson and Dani have been apart for a few months now because of him touring but he is finally arriving home and he couldn't be more excited about going home to Dani and Blake. He had been more nervous than anything about seeing both of them and couldn't believe he's finally going home to see his girl and his son. He always wanted a son of his own and knew that Blake would be his no matter what. Colson got off the plane with the boys and could see an excited Blake and a very smiley Dani.

"God how I've missed you two" Colson said with a smile

Dani hugged him instantly and kissed his lips softly and Blake jumped into his arms when Colson bent down to hug him. Colson and Blake have grown extremely close to each other in the last year or so. Blake even started to call him dad. Colson got the little boy he has always wanted.

"We should get back to the house. I have some things planned for today but I have an in home visit with Blake's doctor in an hour" Danielle said

"Why is there a doctor coming to the house?"

"It's just routine to make sure his heart is a lot better than it was before" Danielle said to Colson

Colson just nodded and grabbed his suitcase and followed them out to the car and put it in the trunk before putting Blake in his seat while Dani got into the car. Colson has always been a big help when it came to Casie and Blake.

Colson carried a sleeping Blake into the house and up to his room while Dani put Colson's bag in his room and started going through it to put his dirty clothes in the laundry when she came across a phone number with a girls name on it. Dani didn't want to jump to conclusions but she had gone through things like this before.

"Blake is down for the count until the doctor gets here. He must of been exhausted"

Colson walked closer to see that she was holding something and sighs softly.

"I meant to throw that away. Some girl gave it to me on tour. I didn't plan on using it if that's what you think" Colson said

"No baby, I didn't think you were going to use it. I know you love us and wouldn't do anything to hurt us. Hurt me" Dani said

Colson just nodded and headed out to the kitchen to make himself some food before the doctor showed up. Dani could tell that her saying that to Colson still didn't help because in the back of her mind she still wondered if she hadn't found it then maybe he would have used it. Dani went off upstairs with Colson phone without him noticing and dialed up the number off his phone and saw it programmed into his phone already, she quickly called it and muted herself

"Hello? Colson? You there?" the girl said on the other line and before Dani could hang up the phone was ripped out of her hand and she looked up to see Colson staring down at her

"What do you think you're doing, Danielle?" Colson asked

"For someone who said that she wasn't saved into your phone she clearly is! Care to tell me why my boyfriend has some whore in his phone?"

"You can't just go through my shit! It is a violation of privacy, Danielle!"

"Wow Colson that's all you have to say for yourself after I found this in your fucking phone! Great just fucking great! I brought my son into this life for you! I wanted us to be together and for Blake to grow up with a father in his life and you chose to throw it all away for some whore!"

"NO! God no I wouldn't throw it away for this girl! I love you and Blake, Danielle please you have to believe me. I would never hurt you or Blake!"

Danielle felt so many mixed emotions and didn't know what to do with them so she stormed out of the bedroom and went into Blake's room and picked him up softly and took him downstairs and out to her car and placed him inside. Colson was screaming for her to stop and just wait for a second but Dani wasn't listening to him and got into the car and sped off.
