Although you were glad that the tumor was out of your head, you hated to hear that you were going to stay in the hospital. Poor Logan, he was going to think you were ignoring him again. You couldn’t let him go through with that again. You wanted to say more to your mom but the medicine was still heavy inside of you so you sighed and relaxed and soon found yourself in a peaceful sleep. When you awoke again your mom was sitting on the couch staring out the window. You looked at her just sitting there. You were sad because you knew she was thinking about you and was worried. You wanted to tell her not to worry and that everything would be alright, but how do you say that when you don’t know? She looked like she had aged a couple years over the past couple weeks. It must of been because of everything that had been going on.
You turned your attention back onto yourself and started studying all that you were hooked up to. There was a cord going into your hand that stretched up to a small bag. It was most likely fluids or medication. Then there was another machine that was on the other side of you that made a noise every couple of seconds. It was your heart monitor, you looked at it for a couple minutes just watching the lines. You followed the cords from the machine to yourself. Your mind then went on to the subject of your head. You slowly and carefully moved your hands to your head. It was wrapped in a lot of bandages, you sighed and rolled over trying not to think too much on it. You found it hard to sleep so you just lied there and pretended to sleep. Your mind once again fell to Logan.. what was he going to say to your disappearance this time? you couldn’t hide it forever
