Samon walked down the halls of building 5. He looked at the pieces of paperwork as he walked and made sure everything was correct before he put them away or sent them to there required destinations. He was outside and the gentle breeze felt nice. It was a beautiful day to be outside but it was still early.
Samon looked up at the sound of wing beats coming closer. He turned to his right and saw a familiar guard land on the other side of the decorated fence that separated the walkway from the gardens. The woman's fully black eyes stared up at him from her crouched landing position. Samon scowled and stared back as the woman stood straight and walked away. Samon's gaze followed her as she reached the staircase to take her to his level. She stopped when she was directly in front of the man. Samon looked up at the woman, still scowling. She smiled widely and innocently down at him. In a quick movement, she spun and was standing next to him.
"Good morning supervisor." The man let out a yell as one of her wings smacked into his face. He groaned and held his nose before looking up at the woman with a hateful glance. As if by a miracle he still held onto the paperwork.
"Is this going to become a routine greeting for you, Kane?" The woman laughed and let an arm fall around his neck. She pulled him close with a wide smile while a wing subconsciously came around him as well.
"Aw, come on, supervisor. You know I love to tease you." Samon huffed and shouldered her off him. She didn't stop smiling but she stood up straight and adjusted her wings so they were comfortable and folded against her back.
Samon's eyes glanced back at her brightly colored wings. Kane always said that her wings were that of a Blue Macaw. And even though the supervisor had never seen one he could only imagine the beauty they carried with them in the color of their feathers. For her wings were a beautiful blue and seemed to change shade depending on the amount of light. The woman's wings were large as well. They could cover her whole body if she wrapped them around herself. The feathers were soft and a few grazed the ground as she walked next to Samon as they made their way to the offices.
"So supervisor? What are your plans for today?" The man took a seat at his desk and Kane leaned over it and rested her head in her hands as she questioned the supervisor. Samon looked up at her annoyed as her colored wings caught his eye, as they normally did because of their bright color. They were being held higher than normal and seemed to be raised upward unlike there normal resting position which was flat against her back.
"Just the normal." Kane hummed and tilted her head. Samon looked up from his paperwork and scowled at her wondering what she was thinking.
"No." One of Samon's eyes twitched and an irk mark appears on his forehead.
"What?" Samon growled out the question as he grew furious. He met the black eyes of the woman in front of him and stood from his seat, clenching a fist as he stood over her angrily.
"I said no. Did you not hear me?" A red aura grew around Samon but the woman seemed unphased and hardly bothered. "You're not doing just the normal today." Samon nearly fell over at her response. The man froze and stared at her blinking. Kane smirked and looked up at him. Samon clenched his jaw and tried not to blush. Fuck, she looked hot like that. But the man just sighed and sat back down.
"What do you mean? I have work I need to do." Kane nodded and stood straight, flipping her black hair over her shoulder. She put a hand on his desk this time and put a finger directly in his face. The man jerked back at the sudden action.
"No." Samon scowled again. "You've been closing yourself off ever since the loss at the New Year Tournament. I think a few matches with some of your favorite inmates would cheer you up." The supervisor looked up Kane's black eyes with an unimpressed face. But she smiled down at him and he couldn't help but smile too.
