A Family Birthday

Junmyeon smiled at the boy wearing the small party cap while blowing on what they call 'the birthday kazoo'. Holding back his tears as the party had officially begun. He neared the birthday boy before giving him a big bear hug which the latter irritatedly accepted.

"Happy Birthday Sehun-ah."

What is unknown to all of us was that Idols are friends behind the scenes. ALL ARE FAMILY. So there should be no surprise that the surprise party for EXO's maknae included everyone they deemed their 'Family'.

Even if you aren't so much as to say, close, to them you are very much welcome to come. Whether you're from a competing company or an ally, they all came in some sort of way. However, what baffled many - or maybe one in particular - was when she was forcefully dragged inside when she herself knew that she wasn't exactly what they say 'family' worthy. In all seriousness, Jisoo just wanted to get out because quite frankly for her it was rude to intrude, and surprisingly Rosé thought not.

You see, if you remember correctly, Rosé had once done a, say, collab with EXO's Chanyeol and one thing leads to the next and here they were. Now the only tad bit connection she had was when she Mceed in Inkigayo but that wasn't so much was it and she may or may not have seen the growing relationship of her member and another but that's too sensitive to chat about.

And back to the present where her main goal of the day was to greet Sehun-ssi a happy birthday and to give her gift to him but apparently that didn't go as planned too.

For the first part that she saw him was when she was being dragged by Jennie inside the main event, the only thing she could do was give him her best eye smile. Though what returned to her was a confused glance and he was again hidden in the mass of people.

She tried to find him again, failing of course, because this time Red Velvet's Seulgi asked her to be her partner to have a dance battle against Lisa and Yeri. Half win and half lose was the result.

When she sat down to take a break she finally saw him, his head peeking as if trying to find something. He poked out the crowd and their eyes met. She waved and stood to move to him and maybe finally be able to greet him his wishes but no. Once again she was left in the middle because the crowd was taller than her.

She sighed as she shook her head. Exactly when will this end again?

For the third time, she tried her hunt she ended up in the pile of the ever-growing NCT. Doyoung had decided to chit chat with her but somehow that ended up attracting the rest of them, somehow. Breathing rapidly as she tried her very best to converse with all of them at once. Amazingly she had succeeded in that and had not in the search.

After everything that had happened, she doubted that she could end the day greeting the special person. After all the fuss, she had finally thought that this was the end of her three journeys.

"I'll have to leave this to his members then." She mumbled, walking directly without any notice. "Or I could ask Irene-unnie to hand it. But that would be troublesome on her part"

And for the umpteenth time this day, she bumped into someone. May this be someone she knew, hopefully, it is. She looked up preparing a long speech as an apology but instead of it coming out her eyes reflected instead.

"Are you alright Jisoo-ssi?", He asked as he held the almost stumbling woman.

She nodded, lowering her gaze and apologizing. The person threw her an ok symbol before seemingly walking away but before he could continue his already made 2 meters length Jisoo called out,

"Happy birthday Sehun-ssi."

She took out her white wrapped gift and handed it to him with her infamous bright heart-shaped smile. Sehun smiled back at her.

"Thank you, Jisoo-ssi."
