Rayna thought she misheard him but then he shouted the word again. "Run!"

Rayna didn't understand what he was talking about, but when she heard voices shouting behind her she began to panic her eyes going wide. She looked to her right and left frantically and then decided to go to the left, running, not looking behind her.

Her heart was pounding in her chest as she heard the commotions going on behind her. She looked back and saw her horse running in the opposite direction and Coilleach on his hind legs, screeching a call out to the creatures of the jungle.

She turned her head back, looking forward as she ran. What had she done?

Part 1

Rayna sprinted through the trees, catching on to vines and roots as she passed through. She was being chased, for what she didn't know, but when Coilleach told her to run, she didn't give it a second thought.

While she was running, a thought crossed her mind and she groaned to herself when she realized what must have happened. One of the Bellator's must have seen her when she reappeared. Or heard her when she was tumbling down the hill when she fell. They must have seen what direction she had come from and assumed the worst.

The creatures of the jungle were deflecting the men in black armor as she ran. Her horse was gone. So she was running on foot. She had to use nature to her advantage. Since it was summertime, she might still be able to use the water from within the earth to her advantage. She prayed to the Gods that it would work as it did during the winter.

Rayna let her hands spread out next to her sides as she pulled the water from the ground, her hands squeezing into a fist as it moved with her. She didn't care if she was seen, she didn't care who saw what now, she needed to get away and fast. She pushed the water in front of her to create ice so that she could glide along with it, moving faster than the men on horses. She glided across the ice and turned herself to the right, running towards the cliffs throwing the men off, making them have to turn the horses. She was running to the sea, the opposite direction of home. It would take her to long to get there, and she certainly did not want to lead them there.

Rayna continued skating with the water as she heard hooves continue to follow her, though she could tell the numbers had dwindled as she maneuvered in complicated ways to the sea.

They were shouting to her ever so often. "Stop! In the name of the King! Stop!"

She scoffed at their words as if she would stop for that fool. But she recognized one of the voices as Cyrus'. She had to hurry, she didn't know if he knew it was her yet. When she was enough distance away from them and closer to the cliffs she continued on foot running and jumping over things and going through small areas they would have to go around. Occasionally she would through little water balls behind her to startle the horse, to try and slow them down.

When Jace called to the men, shouting that someone was spying on the Prince near the cemetery the Bellator's jumped into action. Something the Prince never knew, was that while he was at the cemetery about four Bellator's watched the perimeter around it, making sure no one came within a mile of him. They were not about to watch another young royal of theirs get killed on their watch.

Now they were on the chase, and they were angry. They were trying to keep up with the person that was spying on their Prince. They were all perplexed as to why the creatures of the jungle seemed to be stopping them from getting to the spy, a girl as they have come to realize.
