The world is a cruel place,
because the people are the worst.
We hurt each other, for no reason at all
you were never the first.
But one day, you can open your eyes,
and you will see.
All that we have accoplished,
all that we could be.
I see how
we cause each other pain.
With nothing but
a fictitious gain.
You will never know the monstrosity
that we call the human race.
You will stay hidden behind
your thick protective case.
Close your eyes,
we shall survive.
Because we know
that we are alive.
The night must end,
one day we will see the sun.
One day the morning will come,
and all the horrors will be done.
Until then just close your eyes
and dream a beautiful dream.
Because my wonderful child,
the world is falling apart at the seam.
One day your life will be shattered,
putrid thoughts of hate and disgust will defile.
Unfortunately for us all innocence
