I've changed my life upside down. The apartment I've bought only fits me for I rarely have company. But I go out almost every night. I've started drinking but I never get drunk. If I get drunk, it'll ruin my job.
And for my job...I'm a fighter. I've started boxing as a pastime and a scout found me. It's the only way that manages my anger and pain considering my favorite person is too busy now. We've barely spoken but I still have feelings for her. I'll always have feelings for her, but six months without communication is starting to catch up to me.
When I fight, I feel as though everything leaves. I'm fighting to prove to myself that I'm not weak and that I can fight anything that comes in my way and the way of Marie. I'm fighting for her every day because I'm faithful to her.
My sister consistently comments on my body, saying I look like I'm on steroids. I'm not and she pisses me off half the time. She doesn't understand personal space and is constantly touching me. Touching isn't a strong concept with my body; only one person can touch me.
Marie.
In my time away from her, my entire left arm is a sleeve of tattoos now and my hair has been trimmed. I keep it long though.
I push the mouth-guard into my mouth and begin round two, fighting against a larger opponent but I easily knock him out. The blood pulses through my veins and I love the sensation it brings. I'm so high off adrenaline right now.
After round three, I walk out of the ring and walk into the warm-up room. "Harry, this came for you."
I'm handed an envelope and I open it, reading the list of boxing dates. I'm traveling around England and I set it in my bag, walking out of the gym with a swollen nose from the fight.
Upon entering my apartment, I pick up the mail and flip through everything. The last letter is glanced at and I drop everything, running to my couch and tearing it open.
Harry-
I'm so sorry for the horrible contact with you. Dance as been so hectic and I miss you. Terribly.
There is nothing I want more than a simple hug from you. Plus I've found out something exciting. I've been offered to play The Sugar Plum Fairy in the world tour ballet and there is a show that comes to England. I just don't know if I'll be able to see you.
Oh, and you'll never believe who I met. I met Leonardo DiCaprio! Oh my gosh, I had a freaking heart attack. But you will always give me butterflies. There is so much I want to say to you but I'm afraid I'm being called to work.
Miss you infinitely.
Marie
My fingers write her a letter in response and I continue running my hand through my hair. Words are escaping me.
After I send the letter, I sit back onto my couch and I wait.

The rest of the year is long as well as the beginning of the next year, everything stretched out by numerous fights. My name is beginning to become known and I spend nearly every waking hour in the gym.
My face has slowly became drained, my eyes casted with shadows and my skin hasn't seen much sun lately. My focus on fighting doesn't allow me to get out much.
Prepping for the fight tonight, I start to relax and shake out my hair. The bell rings and I run out, stepping into the ring. As I look at the opponent, I see the determination in his eyes. I can fight him; he'll be easy.
The fights starts and I fight hard, blocking yet suffering a few hits. My eyebrow has blood dripping from it but I continue to move. I can't be pushed down. Rounds continue and I finally knock the opponent to the floor. The bell rings and I flex my arms, walking with the trainer to my room. The distraction of the people who watch these matches never get to my head. Determination is everything.
