Chapter 1

The Dark Tree

This is a story of a dark pony full of endless dark energy that looks after ravens that he recuse from being tortured and being killed.
In the realm of the Equinox that was created by Queen Black Hole. She wanted a servant that would obey her every command but something went wrong. Her creation was getting corrupted and she had to shut her spells down that Dimmed Star was controlling.
When Dimmed Star and Queen Black Hole stopped their spells everything went black. They looked around for a while and they looked at the container test tube and saw that the created pony has broken out of his container leaving a broken cracked hole.
They both were in shock that this pony could escape and they found a note on the floor that said this.
"I am not going to be your stupid slave Black Hole. I am my own entity. I serve no one. I simply do not take orders from the likes of you or that witch of yours. I will escape from this realm and live somewhere else. I also took back the ravens that you captured that you and Dimmed Star were going to start doing some experiments on.
I will not allow you to do something this cruel to these ravens! I'm choosing to walk on my own. And make my own choices. I am far more powerful than you and the rest of the Equinox!
If you lay one little hoof on these ravens I will kill you! And if that Dimmed Star witch and her allies try to capture me and bring me back to you. I will destroy them without giving a damn. I already made my escape from this rotting world. Goodbye Forever.
After Queen Black Hole read that note she told Dimmed Star to gather her allies and to capture him and bring him back to her. And Dimmed Star did just that.
Darkvine Raven was in a different world where there was no Sunlight no warmth and no way to get to Equestria. He and the ravens went around looking for shelter. But, all there was is Night cold sky and the Dark Forest.
Darkvine Raven was still full of endless dark energy flowing through his body. He then took notice that the ravens he saved were freezing in this cold dark night. He tried using his magic to build a hut for the ravens and himself to stay warm.
Several hours later, he finished building his hut that was extremely larger than Zecora's hut but his was solid black and was camouflaged to keep anyone from finding him and his ravens.
The ravens were very weak to move and Darkvine used his magic to pick up all the ravens and he brought them all inside and he had built a fire place that he had made himself and he created a never ending wood that would never burn out.
As Darkvine set his ravens down he started lighting up the fireplace and it was lit. Making the ravens all feel nice and warm again as they all fell asleep for the whole night.
Darkvine: Sigh.... these poor ravens.... I must go search for some food for them now while I am ahead. They all must be very hungry from being tortured by Queen Black Hole.
Darkvine had a dark tree seed that he can grow in this cold dark night. He dug a hole right next to his hut and he placed the seed in the hole and patted it down into the cold soil and went back into his hut and waited.
The seed did not take long to adapt to the cold soil that was next to his hut. As it soon began to grow rapidly and merge his hut into a tall dark tree with the hut at the bottom of the tree trunk was now a full built hut being merged with the dark tree's bark giving him a lot of shelter and 100% camouflage to hide whoever is seeking for him.
The dark tree created a black cauldron with black flames that heat up hotter than white flames. It also created all kinds of books into making edible teeth medicine from different creatures who have all been killed by humans. The dark tree even created all sorts of homes and shelters with nests inside to stay warm from the cold night.
When Darkvine saw that his hut was now different he went outside and he saw that the seed grew and merged his hut with the dark tree. He saw how tall his tree has gotten and he saw that it's completely 100% camouflaged to the night sky and the other trees surrounding it. Making a path for him to remember where to find some ingredients and food out in the cold night that he is not affected by. The path made him feel and sense where his new home was and he can smell every ingredient and food out there.
Darkvine was accepted by the dark tree and the forest to be a wandering spirit to help take care of any animals that get targeted by humans that want to kill them for trading food for gold. The forest had a new urban legend about a strange horse living in the forest protecting the animals and nature from all who try to go hunting.
The humans would start naming the horse "Dark Vine Horse of the Forest". And they will tell stories to their children about the Dark Vine Horse of the Forest of how it can sense anything or anyone who comes into its forest to drive away hunters without killing them but instead of going to them a warning to leave it's home and never come back.
Darkvine has been in that forest for 70 million years and he has given his ravens an immortality to live with him. Which his urban legend and myth made him want the humans to hunt him down and kill him and sell his flesh for a higher price of 90,000 million gold. That all hunters would want to get to buy a new home to put his head on display.
But Darkvine knows that he can resurrect himself if he is caught by the humans that make him lose one drop of his blood that will eventually land on the ground and he would be able to resurrect himself with his drop of blood while the other him gets killed.
Once the humans kill him off they prove that the urban legend and myth is dead and that they can buy the forest without this horse getting in their way. But little did they know, the dark tree that recognize Darkvine can resurrect himself from his drop of blood that was on the ground really does make him a legend for the future of the forest.
Darkvine stomped on the ground and made all the trees and the vines grow rapidly blocking all entrances to the forest into protecting his home.
When the humans came to sell the forest they found the entrance to the forest had been completely blocked by the trees and vines.
They all wondered how this could happen. And they realized that the urban legend was still alive and it made sure that they were not getting in anymore.
This made the humans very angry that they tried to cut the vines and cop the trees down but to avail. They all went back to their village and they all retired and they stayed with their family's.
After the humans were spending their last hour of being alive they created an old ancient handwriting and created a picture of the Urban Legend and Myth and the Dark Forest. That no soul is to enter that place because of a strange dark purple pony that lives in that forest that is said: "Thou who is venturing into the dark forest beware the dark purple pony of immortality. Never venture into its home or thou's precious ones will never be seen again".
On the human's last night they all fell asleep and with the next morning they had all gone extinct from existence leaving their precious belongings to rot away after 19,999 years into the new future of this world springs a new life form which became to be the talking ponies that had intelligence, learning experiences, teaching their students that had their own school, their own playground, reading books, and such.
These ponies would later have the Element of Legends known as Sorcery, Hope, Beauty, Bravery, Strength and Healing. Who are Starswirl the Bearded, Somnambula, Mistmane, Flash Magnus, Rockhoof and Mage Meadowbrook. Along with Stygian as a weak Unicorn who could not use magic unless he tried. And these Sea Dragon Ponies who were Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk who are called the Dazzlings who cause havoc over the first Equestria.
Stygian went to go and get Starswirl the Bearded, Somnambula, Mistmane, Flash Magnus, Rockhoof and Mage Meadowbrook to fight the Dazzlings. And so they did and they all defeated the Dazzlings and the citizens were all cheering for their success of beating them. Although the other ponies did not take notice that Stygian was the one who brought them together to battle the Dazzlings.
Stygian then created his own artifacts of Starswirl, Somnambula, Mistmane, Flash Magnus, Rockhoof, and Mage Meadowbrook's precious items so he could bring them together. But one day, Starswirl and his allies came together and saw that Stygian stole their artifacts and they believed that he wanted to take their power for himself. So, they cast him out and Stygian walked away until he found a sacred temple and he heard a voice.
Pony of Shadows: Come... young Stygian... I can teach you the ways... into getting revenge on... those who have betrayed you... I am known as the... Pony of Shadows...
Stygian: You're going to help me? Get revenge on my friends? And you're saying that they've betrayed me? Then please, Pony of Shadows! Teach me your ways.
Pony of Shadows: Very well.
The Pony of Shadows merges himself with Stygian making them one. And so, the Pony of Shadows was linked into Stygian's mind that only Stygian can now control the Pony of Shadows black magic and the first sight of the Pony of Shadows was a large grayish black dark alicorn with white eyes. Starswirl and his allies came together once again and they had banished the Pony of Shadows that had Stygian inside. But, this's cost of their own life they were sent into an endless loop into banishing Stygian and the Pony of Shadows.
8,999 Years later, Princess Celestia was in charge of raising both the sun and moon and she started to have a faithful student that was Twilight Sparkle. Who was a successor of making top grades in school. Soon, as Twilight got older she still kept on doing her usual study's without making any friends. She had an assistant that was a baby dragon named Spike.
That night, Twilight heard a pecking on her window as she woke up and looked at her window. There pecking on the window was a beautiful female raven. Twilight crawled out of her bed and went outside and the raven was flying away but the female raven wanted her to follow it and Twilight started following it.
After a short time Twilight following that raven she stopped and saw a forest. She then took her time into examining the trees and vines that were blocking off the entrance. The female raven let out a screech and the wind began to blow in a cold way that made Twilight start shivering as the trees and vines began to move into opening the entrance as the raven flew in with Twilight following it. The trees and vines closed off the entrance and all the other female ravens watched the lavender unicorn and as Twilight watched as the raven that she followed stops at a large tree that was camouflaged.
The raven pecked on the door and a massive wave of negative cold breeze came and this frightened Twilight. The door opened and two dull green dragon cat eyes were staring down at the raven and then at Twilight.
The raven then flew up and landed on its master's back as he began to pet it. He then walked towards the young teenage lavender unicorn as she stood her ground as she looked up at him seeing how tall he was.
Twilight: Is this your home?
???: ... ... ...
Twilight: I'm Twilight Sparkle. What's your name?
???: ... ... ...
Twilight: Soo, I take it that your not a talkative pony.
???: ... ... ...
Twilight was confused that this pony was not talking to her. But, it didn't last long before he did ask her a simple question.
???: Tell me. Are the humans out there waiting?
Twilight: Huh? Humans? What are those? Are they some kind of new animal?
His raven started speaking to him about the outside world that is now. It told him there were no longer humans in this world.
???: So, they've all gone extinct for good.
Twilight: What do you mean they've all gone extinct?
???: These so called "humans" were hairless apes that eat meat. Such as fish, cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, etc. And they would often sell the animals fur for money. Humans are filled with greed.
Twilight: Wait? You're saying that these humans not only can they be vegetarians but they can be carnivores too?
???: Very much so. That is why I was waiting for them to die off so these mythical creatures that are living here can leave this forest and go live on their own without me taking care of them. My 50 female ravens stay with me because I rescued them.
Twilight was amazed that this pony had a kind and loving soul where he can look after those mythical creatures and his ravens. She can come to hang out with this stallion.
