Sans POV
I didn't know what to say to what the lady asked of me. But she did laugh at my bad puns. So even though I hated making promises I said yes. She sounded so relieved that I agreed not to harm a human if one ever comes through the door. But I knew that I had made a mistake. Because of how relieved she sounded I knew that a human must have fallen. So soon after telling a few more puns together I continued the rest of the day like nothing happened but I still had a feeling that something big was going to happen, but I couldn't pin it down.
And I was right.
The next day when I went to the door I had a weird feeling so I took a shortcut to behind the trees, and there I saw a small human child in a black top with a lightning bolt in the middle of the shirt. The child was obviously young but looked harmless enough. Besides there was no dust on them, so that was a relief. So I followed the child into the snowstrike forest.
Still a little uneasy with myself I accidentally stepped on a tree branch, but I teleported behind a tree right before she had a chance to see me. The child look both confused and frightened by the noise and seeing the branch broken behind them, yet they kept on moving forward determined to stay alive and reach the end. And soon they reached the gate that my brother had set up to stop any humans from crossing. To me the child looked a little confused of the gate so I decided to introduce myself. So I went behind them and said:
Hey kid, don't u know how to greet a new pal?
