Chapter 4 (Friend or Foe)

Chara's POV

Watching this conversation between the skeleton brothers was really quickly getting under my skin. But I knew Sans as a childhood friend, so it was at least nice to see that bonehead again, and that he was still doing good. He really didn't change much. Especially that stupid grin Sans always gave when he was up to no good. I wondered though... could it be possible that Sans can see me? It doesn't matter though, I just hoped this... kid. Frisk. Wasn't up to know good. And not the kind of annoying pranks, puns, and jokes that Sans pulls but the bad kind of if the kid's a Genocider or a Pasifrisk... jeez I spent way too much time as a "kid" hanging out around Sans.

Either way, once papyrus looked behind him he noticed the human. "Is that a Human!?!?" Papyrus said in pure excitement.

"Sure is bro. Why don't you try talking with it?" Sans gave a wink and his cheesy sly grin.

"I-I don't know." I could tell Papyrus was slightly frightened by the human. Papyrus was more of a shy type around people he didn't know too well or at least by my view of it. Though still I really wasn't expecting him to be so nervous around Frisk. But he was quite young, so I guess that made sense.

But still I didn't really trust this kid... I don't really have the best experience with humans and for some reason there was something about her that... was off. I mean I'M not fully against humanity... even though it can be? No. It IS quite cruel.

As a child I was constantly bullied at school and abused at home. I honestly was not accepted into the community... or at least that's sure how I felt and saw it.

ANYWAY, that's the reason why I came to Mt. Ebott. I heard the stories of whoever goes to Mt. Ebott never is to be seen again... and at the point of where I was in my life, I just wanted to disappear. I guess it was a good choice on my behalf, I just didn't know of my life to come... I HAD a family with the king, former queen, and the now dusted prince. And now they are all separated (either by death or more foolish rash choices) thanks to MY foolish and selfish actions of trying to break the barrier and free them all... So here I am now! A FRICKEN GHOST! ... but I really shouldn't be the one complaining should I?... heh well might as well continue on with the human Child Frisk.

The LAST soul needed to break the barrier and let the monsters roam free...
