It had been about a month since Draco and I had our late-night-kitchen-raid. Things have been the same between us, except that we've been hanging out more at night. One thing I couldn't get over was our "fight." I'm always teasing him about it. But today, I thought of the best rematch. I had to stop by Hagrid's today to make sure I could acquire the main piece of my masterpiece.

I caught Draco on his way out of charms to let him know that I had something importantly special planned for our walk tonight. He looked at me, confused before answering with a "Whatever you say, L/n," with the biggest smirk on his face.

"Oh, you know that's not what I mean weirdo. Sod off," I respond, rolling my eyes.

"Yeah, yeah, you're the one who came over here," he reminded

"Shut up," I laugh before rolling my eyes again and walking away

"See you then, L/n! I'm looking forward to it!"

I don't respond but keep walking to class, laughing silently.

"L/n!"

I turn around to see a smiling Draco coming toward me with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey." I grin at him

"So what's this 'special thing?'" he asks, using air quotes.

I laugh. "You'll just have to wait and say," I tease.

"Ugh, you're never any fun."

"Whatever. You know you love me," I say with a wave of my hand and start walking towards Hagrid's hut.

"Where exactly are you taking me? Gonna murder me or something?"

I snicker

He stopped walking, "Oh my god, you're actually going to kill me."

I stop and turn around, "No- Draco. You're so over-dramatic!"

"Who's being the rude one now?" He asks innocently.

"Let's gooo!" I grab his hand and drag him to Hagrid's hut

"L/n, what are we doing, and where are you taking me?"

"Remember how I told you I could beat you in a 'challenge,' and I did?"

"Only because you cheated!"

"No, I didn't, but that's beside the point," I dismissed, "I'm giving you a rematch." I officially declare, " Of sorts."

"What's that supposed to mean? Ugh, you know what? Don't tell me. But what's the 'rematch?'"

I giggle, "I guess you'll just have to wait and see. But don't worry, we're almost there. Just know that if you win, I'll stop taunting you about our last challenge."

"I'll take you up on that offer," he smirked, repeating his words from the first night.

'Good luck,' I think to myself with a smirk on my face.

When we finally arrive at the outside of Hagrid's hut, I stop walking and place my hands on each of Draco's shoulders. "This is your rematch." I walk to the side of the hut and carefully retrieve Buckbeak.

Draco's eyes widen, "What! No. No, no, no way am I going to be anywhere near that ghastly creature!" he frantically yells.

"First off, drama king, keep it down!" I scold, "Second, get over yourself. Buckbeak is harmless. It's you're own stupid fault for insulting him and getting yourself hurt." He gives me a quick glare, then gulps.

"Alright. What do I have to do to win this 'rematch' anyway?" He says, trying to hide even the slightest hint of fear in his voice.

"Well, you need to apologize to Buckbeak. Get over your fear. And one last thing."

He crosses his arms, "What's the last thing?"

"Ask, and you lose."

"Fine," he grumbles.

"So, apologize."

Draco looks at Buckbeak. "Buckbeak...I am very sorry for having said anything that would harm your pride." He quickly looks away.

"Good enough."

I take a few steps forward, with Buckbeak's lead still in my hand. I gently grab Draco's hand and stand between the two. "Now remember, you bow and wait for him to bow back. Then, you can slowly approach him. And I'm expecting you to pet Buckbeak." Draco whined. "Got it?"

He grumbles. "Got it," he responds with a distressed frown on his face. I moved away from the middle, and he slowly bowed. Buckbeak looked at him and turned his head side to side. Then he bowed in return. They both stood up straight. Draco stepped sightly to him as he let out a shaky hand to stroke Buckbeak's feathers.

"There you go, see that wasn't so hard!" I assured.

Draco let out a light chuckle, "So, does that mean I won?"

"Nope, not quite. Don't forget; there's one last thing you have to do."

Draco stopped stroking Buckbeak, "Yeah, but you won't te-"

Draco's POV

I was cut off by Y/n..kissing me?

I wasn't expecting this. I've imagined kissing her before. But, this is a whole lot better. I kiss her back and carefully wrap my arms around her waist. She has one of her hands in my hair and the other on my shoulder. Y/n, N/n, L/n is kissing me.

Y/n POV

I just kissed Draco Malfoy. No, I am kissing Draco. He was kissing back with as much passion as I was, if not more, and feeling him wrap his arms around me made me feel over the moon.

When we broke away, Draco and I were staring deep into each other's eyes.

"Was this the last thing?" He said with a smirk

"Doesn't matter." His face dropped, "Because, you just lost."

His eyes opened wide, and his face turned into a playfully, devilish smile. "Why you"

I pecked him on the lips, released myself from his grip, turned around, and put Buckbeak back. "I told you not to ask."

"Oh, whatever, L/n."

We started walking back to the castle together when I felt a brush at my hand. I looked down and intertwined my hand with Draco's.
